Good news all round, get Mvila here and a Striker, then we are looking good.

 

I think we'll need another CM with Catts being out unless Rodwell is going to finally crack on. Even then we're still struggling for quality in midfield.

 

For what it's worth,
I've heard that Kone is either denying this letter that was made public or at least distancing himself from it.

We all know it's his agent stirring things up.

Maybe he is feeling that staying might be the best option. Who knows.

Just a little move in the right direction and maybe a cause to be more optimistic.

David Moyes came out and said Kone claimed to have no knowledge of the statement that was released, apparently by him.

His agent could be taking the rap for him, or he may have been used and telling the truth.

We will never know. I wanted shot of him because of the distraction and I think it's an awful lot of money for him. After that performance yesterday with Kaboul, my thought on this is changing and I now agree we should hold on to him.

 

I don't believe Kone didn't know about it but it's good he's pretending not to. It means that he's willing to put all the blame on his agent and fall in line.

 

He was awesome yesterday...I so hope we hang on to him.

He came so close to burning all his bridges with the club and fans but he just about got away with it. I think we all knew it was being driven by his agent anyway, not that it makes him blameless by a long shot.

 

Not a single one of the foreign signings ever dreamed of playing for SAFC .......... they can pretend all they like imo.

A couple of days ago on bbc Newcastle I thought I heard that he had.

 

Then the bloke needs to sack his agent doesnt he? Just to emphasize the fact!

 

Then the agent reveals his side of the story?

 

Couldn't/wouldn't as other players would think he's a weasely little arsehole. Needs players on side.

 

But how easy is it for a player to get rid of his agent?

Its not something that we often hear about.
