The more this goes on like this, the more I can see them doing what they did to Villa, and I can see Hooper doing it.
 
If the substitutions today don't show AN Screaming to the Board "We need Strikers!!" then I don't know what will.

10M bid straight in, for either Britt or Rhodes, Nahki Wells. Someone like that. Players who score goals wherever they go, even if they only get given 1 chance all game. Just pay the money.
 
Well done to Wednesday. Strikers on. Can't get the goal, bring on the target men, change tactics and Lump the ball in to the 6'4+ strikers you have just bought on. Worth a go.
 
I'd love to know how many times Naismith have given the ball away today. All f**king game! He's been so sh*t today, a genuine liability in possession.

My god, that was absolute dogsh*t. Really, really crap. Never looked like scoring. Passing was pathetic. Subs were ridiculous. I can't believe I'm so relieved to have drawn that 0-0. Because I don't know how we managed it.
 
First half ok but terrible second half. To be fair Sheffield Wednesday are a good team so I was expecting it to be difficult but thought we'd play better than we did. Even if we bought a striker I'm not sure we would have scored in that game.
 
Sorry, but to start a new season with Jerome the only recognised striker, and so "promoting" Naismith when CJ gets a niggle fills me with trepidation.
I know we're 'scouring Europe' and stuff, but it's points for prizes now and we should be better equipped than that going into campaign with aspirations of winning the darned thing <ok>

So you're saying we slould have bid £50M for Britt and to hell with the consequences?
