I was convinced we'd sign Carlton Cole on deadline day, but he's just joined a US 3rd division side. Gutted to miss out on our target like that.

Apparently we had an 8m euro bid accepted for the 6' 4" striker Laurent Depoitre but he decided to join Porto instead.
