No!

Says we've offered £7M![]()
It makes a lot of sense. it said the other day Man City were willing to let him go for 13M.From the BBC gossip page:
Arsenal will bid £30m for Manchester City's Ivory Coast striker Wilfried Bony, 27. (Daily Star)
Could somebody remind me exactly what he's done since leaving Swansea to be worth even 10% of that?![]()
Aron Gunnarsson Rumors still aplenty today. A great midfielder, and 2M is really cheap for a player of his quality and experience. He'd be a great player to have. if we do sign him, I will worry that a key player will be heading out the door. Otherwise we would be looking at Defenders or Strikers, like we should. Other than buying another player to stock our strongest positions.
I think if there is any real truth in this then it's because we see someone departing - probably Mulumbu who would be the most likely option given the game time he enjoyed last season and his "apparent" hefty wage.
As I said, I don't think we need him unless we lost say: Mulumbu and Howson. I think we'd have to lose 2 main CM squad players to justify the need for signing him.I wouldn't understand AG coming to us though, I thought (Paper speak I know) that he was not getting game time at cardiff and so wanted to move to play. Realistically is that gonna be the case at CR?
He is decent and would represent an upgrade on Mulumbu, but do we need him, I'm not so sure, Mulumbu or no Mulumbu sale.
Bah!
Interesting.AN has said that he wants two senior players at each position and as we currently have two DMs and two CMs, it could suggest that Mulumbu might be leaving. He has also said that he hasn't got a natural replacement for Tettey if he's injured (Mulumbu being a cross between a DM and CM really), so that would also fit.

Interesting.
In that case then, AG for Mulumbu would be a great swap of players for squad strength. Think the only youth player who would slot in there might be Thompson? Did Godfrey sometimes slot in there? Think McGrandels was more attacking. I think at least a couple of them might be out on loan at some point.
More wages, Bigger club, More chance of winning games and a promotion campaign. Cardiff clubs in a little bit of a mess like Blackburn (but not as bad). He probably knows about Tetty's availability in the span of a season and could see that as a chance to stamp his name to the position.Makes sense Rick.
Tettey at some stage is going to get suspended or injured (maybe both) and Gunnarsson would fit into Tettey's role better than anyone else we have at the club, but, unless Tett's gets a bad injury then Gunnarsson will be swapping Cardiff's bench for ours (and not even on the bench for some games I'd wager) so I'm not sure on what's in it for him ?
Good to hear he is going to involve Maddison. I assumed the Murphys were going to stay.AN recently confirmed that the Murphys and Maddison will definitely not be going out on loan. No mention of Toffolo, Thompson or Godfrey in that regard though, so we'll have to wait and see.

Pretty sure there was a quote from Charlton or Swindon where they had enquired about taking Thompson on loan and had been told by AN that he wouldn't be available for loan.
