And Moyes - despite a fairly brief and tempestuous tenure at OT, continues to hoover them up!
According to infuriating tabloid press <grr>
I'd take £10m for Naismith just because we currently have several options in that AM type role.
Seems like I'm on my own a bit - what a difference a summer break and a single good game make ;)

Everton- Potential £30M for Bolasie!? I really like the player, He's a decent Premiership player, but really!? This is mental. We could be heading for the first 1B transfer window spend soon!

I'm Starting to wonder if we are better off out of that madness. We'd never be able to compete with this kind of spending power.

It's a different standard League. Naismith should pull the strings and help take teams apart in this league. So I want us to keep him.

I'm 60/0 in favour of Naismith going as well - my thought is that it would be good to have someone with his experience to help the younger payers develop.

Don't know if this has been posted before - http://www.winnersports.co.uk/norwi...-scored-17-goals-championship-last-term-38228 and I feel he could be a useful addition to the squad. Huddersfield reckon he's worth around £8M - REALLY????

    Agreed

The Brit rumors have gone cold, no new links are coming out. If it is Nahki, I think he'd be a decent addition to the squad. The more highlights, assists and goal videos I've seen, the more I like the look of him. He's certainly got something.

Naismith is not another Wes, Pritchard or Maddison, he offers an attacking option in that position or WL with goals we will need big time in our push for promotion. He is at his best when playing alongside another AM as he did with Wes against Blackburn. If he leaves, we become much more one-dimensional and predictable. I certainly hope he stays.

The Star is stating that Moyes will be coming in for Naismith at £8m. Another laughable amount when he cost NCFC at least £8.5m! Described in the article as a striker then later as goal scoring midfield player. Whoever wrote this article clearly has no idea of the facts so I await an informative and accurate account of the Sunderland managers intentions (if any?):emoticon-0112-wonde

Wow, if this is true (unlikely) then it's a a real statement of intent from the Champions. He's one of the most highly rated youngsters in world football. In fact I was sure a few seasons ago Real or Barca bought the rights for first refusal on him. Maybe not then. All the top clubs have been looking at him for a lot of seasons.

Yes FML, Leicester are certainly looking to strengthen and I see Ranier had signed a new contract worth a paltry £3M a year!!

Clever guy, if their season does not go as well this year loads of fools will call for his head and that's one juicy retirement package he has signed

    From the BBC gossip page:
Arsenal will bid £30m for Manchester City's Ivory Coast striker Wilfried Bony, 27. (Daily Star)
Could somebody remind me exactly what he's done since leaving Swansea to be worth even 10% of that? <yikes>

Strikers are at a premium, as we have found so far.

If McCormack, a 30 year old player who has never graced the top tier has sold for £12M, then whilst also overpriced at £30M, Bony has at least played at that higher level. I think if we were to bid the £11M for Bony and get him, we would all be happy so I think 10% is a touch harsh!

    Bah!

In fairness, Cromer, they're now talking about a £15m bid from Everton for Bony, which seems more like it.

I see we've been linked with Assombalonga again, via the Sun, via Sky Sports

Given that it's just Sky passing on the Sun's speculation, I wouldn't give it much credence.
