This doesn't make sense to me either.

The only thing I can think of is mafia mechanics. I know from a query I made to Roland that the mafia cannot kill if the GF does not tell them who to kill. This implies that the GF sends out the other mafia to do the killing. Can he send them out to perform two actions (possible kill and investigate/frame)? I think that would be strange game mechanics, but why else would musty (or DPP) visit two people?

My concern with lynching Penfold tonight is twofold.

1. We know DPP is almost certainly mafia based on musty's revelations (assuming musty is telling the truth). We are not certain about Penfold. I know you think he is based on you not getting a kill - but it was ME that blocked your kill.

2. If we lynch Penfold and he is the GF, and we leave a known mafia, then another mafia will step up to be GF and they might still be given the kill.

The 3 into 2 theory could be shaky from all I know about these games. Unless Roland has allowed them leeway due to numbers? I can't see them completing 2 actions in one night?

Musty said he saw dpp kill valley night one and say dpp kill beardsley night 2 and saw him visiting nev as well.

this is the key point.

WHAT ROLE CAN MUSTY HAVE TO MAKE THIS POSSIBLE.

THis is very clear from ACS he made the first claim and nobody has denied it. some lads have been very very quiet and some have come forward and given their claim. If someone is sitting as town and knows theres a lie out here.

SPEAK UP

There is a fair chance some bad guy has tried the lie on today... but we will see.

The only way would be if they act as a team and carry out two night actions. I do know however that they cannot kill if the GF does not instruct them. If he is blocked then they cannot kill.

We are no more certain about Musty at the moment though given the 3 into 2 problem. If we stay strong on the vote the mafia will probably be unable to stop themselves switching.

As I see it lynching PENFOLD has benefits either way. If we lynch him and he is the godfather, great. It raises suspicions about whether you are the consort of course <whistle> If I use my kill to go for you, DPP or Musty on the same night, we may even get 2. 2 out of a 3 man team is massive with further investigations to come. If we lynch PENFOLD and he is town, its a blow (what role could he be filling based on the claims so far?) However it will moreorless confirm you as town. Minimum we'd have a team of three to go voting with bar neutral intervention.

I think the 3 into 2 problem comes down to the fact that beardsley was the bodyguard. he must have been protecting me last night which would explain why DPP had to visit me in order to visit DPP - as DPP was killing beardsley.

If he watched valley night one and got DPP as killer... then watched him night 2 again... well..... does this add up? dpp is not the visitee he is the visitor.

To do this he would have needed to choose Valley night one and either me or Beardsley night two. For night two IF Beardsley guarded me then presumably he would have been with me. That seems like might good luck to choose those two in two nights.
