If the 30% sell on clause is true then it's an awful deal in this climate mate. only 7.6m profit, You've got to factor inflated prices too. Meaning true profit would only be 3 or 4m. Not worth it imo.
He's not worth £18M but he could be the difference between a decent start and another disastrous points tally by Xmas.
@SkySports_Keith Mark McKay, Lamine Kone's agent, has told us: "Lamine will train with Sunderland tomorrow and is available for selection for Saturday (1/2) @SkySports_Keith Kone's agent Mark McKay: "In the meantime Lamine still awaits the offer of a new contract from Sunderland." (2/2)
There's a lot of stuff being reported that isn't true, mate. It's honestly best to switch off to the rumours, unless we can be sure that they are concrete.
I never believed he would leave anyway. I think that photo in Liverpool is what got alot of people worried. But he loves the fans and his mate Kaboul! Why would he want to leave...if we gave him a good pay rise especially!
Agent couldn't make it any clearer what they're after. Unless he released in Bold, font 64. Though, After buying 2 CB's in a week, I for one am worried he's on his way. Big mistake by Moyes if he goes. Crowd on his back straight away.
You know one thing in all this, Everton is a very small step up indeed isn't it? Hardly ripping trees up last few years. Great gaffer appointment and a few quid now but that don't always work. I think alone absolutely deserves a new deal, a few have mentioned it but it's not just him it's the value of a solid, understanding partnership.
Agree, the Chelsea interest may be a head turner if there's anything in that. As would the 70/80k a week from Everton if we don't offer it!
It's just about time that we stuck our heads up, realised where we have been going wrong and decided to have a go in the league by investing properly in the Squad. Keeping Kone and spending 30/40M on 2 or 3 quality additions would improve is massively. The amount of 'squad players' we have utilised over the past few seasons is ridiculous. Now is the time for quality over quantity IMO.
Take a look at @MartinDagg94's Tweet: Not sure if this is rubbish, I am new to twitter but it's interesting.
