I am trying my positive negativity , ( if that makes sense ) .
It's working Jasper....

Lancs 47/2. 30 overs left. A very small opening has appeared for Hampshire...
I'm assuming the pitch is turning though with Dawson and Crane picking up wickets. It's unlikely I know but cricket is a strange sport at times. If Smith is too injured to bat (he injured himself bowling, but was fine to open in the first innings - so I wonder if this is just Lancs letting him put his feet up, and that he'll be fine to bat if required. But maybe it is more than that), then I could just about to agree with you.
But assuming we do still need 8 wickets, I really can't see it. If only we had Broad, Jimmy, Woakes and Finn.
A big thanks to ex Hants batsman, George Baily, who hit an unbeated ton today to deny Surrey a crucial victory and possibly keep our hopes of survival alive.
Oi.! That's my line.Never in doubt........
Livingstone certainly isn't known for his ability to block it.
Middlesex doing a good job now. Surrey no doubt getting frustrated.
Looks bad (correction: is bad) but has been a funny series. Need a couple of players to put a stand together...at this stage hard to judge what is a decent score....I'd take over 250 at the moment.England 131-5 after choosing to bat on first day of last test .
