Tweet from Radio Humberside Hull City target, and current Wales boss, Chris Coleman seems to be out of the running to become their new manager. #hcafc
Our Hull City reporter @bbcburnsy understands former Spurs boss Tim Sherwood could be a new name in the frame to succeed Steve Bruce. #hcafc
Wanted Bruce sacked at Christmas and Sherwood appointed in 14/15 funnily enough.. Think he'd do a good job with the Spurs trio, and would give us a major lift. He's good coming in half way through and providing a lift, like he did for Spurs and Villa, not so good at sustaining it.
Yesterday was supposed to be the day our new manager was announced, the news that new names are still being thrown into the hat is not a good sign.
To clarify though, Sherwood was just a name Burns speculated about with no basis in fact, he's clarified that himself.
I don't think anyone knows anything. Even if you knew nothing about football you'd know Zola would be a terrible appointment. Appalling record as a manager.
Got West Ham a top half finish. That's not that bad. Survived in the second season too despite all the off-field issues.
True but it's looking like he is the only sod that will take it. Beggars can't be choosers and all that.
Zola did alright at Watford at first too. Didn't reallly pay attention to what led to him leaving but 12/13 when we pipped them to promotion they looked an excellent side. I don't mind Sherwood either. I don't really care who gets it though.
all this is bollox anyway - they're not spending any money - they're taking away the focus of lack of signings on the pretext of getting a new manager - they'll blame Brucie for ****ing off and wrecking preseason - they'll say how disappointing the injuries are and loss of key players - it will be everyone else's fault - they will believe the team is strong enough for the Prem - they will say the majority of fans trust them and understand the difficulties they face and they will blame a minority of hooligans for causing disruption - If I was Sportpesa, I'd tell them to **** off because their brand is set to be associated with the biggest pile of **** going
Thought he resigned citing a lack of commitment to the job, but others report he was sacked, so not sure which is true. He did do a great job with them the first season, and if not for some awful luck with their keepers on final day they'd have gone up in our place.
I would take anybody as long as it's done today .. First job stop other players leaving second job get a new centre half in a week
