Unfortunately he was the player who could unlock a defense. Hopefully Maloney can do that like he did at Wigan.
Hopefully he'll give a good interview and tell sky what he thinks of our 2 idiots! He can at least do that for us? And thanks again for Wembley
He will soon have a new wardrobe full of stuff, care of Lonsdale, Dunlop, Kappa and whatever else he can find going cheap in the club sponsors shop.
To paraphrase Hank Williams: Goodbye Mo you gotta go, me oh my oh You gotta go pole the pirogue doon the Tyne oh Wembley goal, the sweetest one, me oh my oh Son of a gun you'll have big fun with the Toon oh
Quote from Diame apparently ; 'Newcastle is a great club with a great history. Once we are promoted to the Premier League, Rafael Benitez promises to set up a team worthy of the name. Frankly, they offered me a contract that I can not refuse at all.' I am impressed by the solid project that Newcastle has to offer me. To me the coach remains a great coach in the world'.
Shame, if he stayed injury free, I felt that this would have been the season we'd truly see whether he was a great player or not. It could be argued that last season, he was still in the aftermath of a long term injury - hence his quality goals being punctuated by dog **** performances. However, despite NUFC's performances last season and the likelihood they'll trim the squad, he'll have a job nailing a place in that team. Good luck Mo Diame!
