It's very good of you, but these releases do already get sent to all major news outlets as a matter of course.

The first reply was the start of considering alternatives., amongst other things. Sadly, like other times, it seems to just generate defensive posts and Allamesque replies rather than proper discussion. Still, I'm ever the optimist.
You mention points like this loads of times but you never go anywhere with it. It's probably why people just scroll past it now. 'Why can't we have more discussions about X point, I don't actually have any suggestions myself, but we need more debate about it, although I'm not sure what 'it' is and I don't want to offer anything else'.

Oio6îľku The first reply on here was more questions that could lead to alternatives. I've offered alternatives on other similar threads that seemed to be well received. The question was sort of related to the extra measure hinted at in the OP to see if they have been taken up. It'd be interesting to see what others think, if the thread can be allowed to progress without too many pillocks.
See there's the rub. People don't just scroll past, some seem to do whatever they can to prevent such discussions each time they crop up. I've offered plenty of suggestions in other threads. If the discussions didn't keep getting diverted to silly Allamesque personal nonsense, maybe more could come out. Surely, we all went the best for the club? More ideas have to be better than just a few?
But maybe no authority. The cleaner/handyman/security man/office junior might have picked up the phone.
