My thoughts are Coleman has indicated he is interested - hence the approach to the FAW. FAW reject the approach so the ball is now in Colemans court. He's in a no lose situation - Wales are probably not going to get to the dizzy heights of the Euro's. His stock is as high as it could possibly be. His salary as Wales manager is small fry in relation to what he could earn as a PL manager. He would be my preferred option.
These ****s have never had any intention of appointing any of the so called "candidates" for the new managers position. They've strung us all along and will eventually turn around and say that after extensive deliberation, interviews and discussions no suitable person was prepared to accept the job therefore we will appoint Mike Phelan as First Team Coach for the rest of the season. Phelan is a cheap option and will maintain continuity within the team. These bastards are a couple of lying, devious ****s and need to get out of our club as soon as possible.
It doesnt matter who gets the job. Theyll get the job then Ehabscum will hoover the TV money up out of the club. It ll be a gift to themselves.
Could Coleman not do both jobs? We have the stupid international breaks to contend with anyway, so it's not like we will be playing and he can send his other FAW coaches to watch players.
Even if Coleman said he was up for the KC(om) gig (which I doubt) he'd cost £m in compo to the FAW. City won't want to pay anyone when there's loads of free agents out there. Zola probably thinks Hull is just north of Northampton. He wouldn't want the hassle of coming up here, but eh stranger things have happened. If you see Steve Evans backing his mini out of his garage and pointing it east, then be worried...Any intelligent person would ask Phelan to take over, but eh is anyone at HCAFC that intelligent ? Who knows what the Allams long term goal is? I dare say we'll find out by the end of the week.
I'm guessing the FAW now see Welsh football as a big deal - certainly far too big to be thought of as requiring a part-time coach. Fair play to 'em for digging their heels in.
Theres £200 million TV money due in the next 3/4 years. They could easily take half of it and still get a fair few million for the club.
Right this might be interesting... or not... on Betfair Sportsbook which is like the bookies.. Phelan is now 3/1... BUT on Betfair exchange he's 6/1... Zola out to 13/8.. Coleman 15/8, Martinez 6/1... and a new runner Giggs 33/1 into 21/1...
Not really... theres no real money being bet... a bit like Leicester supporters having a few quid on. They have no real liabilities and as such cannot make a book on the market.
If you look at July manager outs: Steve Bruce and managers at Sunderland, Fleetwood and Wolves. Sunderland, Fleetwood and Wolves have had new managers appointed but not us.
Honestly mate, I've no idea what any of that means. Never understood gambling. I just assume people are handing money over to the bookies and the bookies will be giving back less than they've taken.
They couldn't, selling a Premier League club will get them more money than trying to pull it out of ongoing funds. Half this season's money's gone already.
