No idea. I just assumed that these days smoking would be considered A Bad Thing for sportsmen and athletes.
They could just put a clause saying the player can't consume anything the club haven't approved. The club then provides a list. If ***s isn't on it, then they can't have it.
Most footballers aren't allowed to ski or do any sports that could potentially harm them. That's why most footballers take up golf, a sport with a low risk of injury.
Most. who are the lucky few that can then? I am pretty sure I have seen holiday pics of players skiing, scuba diving etc, don't remember any rock climbing tbf.
Was you old enough to watch football back in 2009/10 season? Guess you never saw his Madrid team play either
I just wasn't confident in saying that every single footballer across the world is banned from skiing. I just know it is common practice for the top teams to ensure their players cannot do activities like skiing where they could potentially injure themselves.
It is understandable really because imagine just after Pogba signs for £100m he breaks his leg skiing the following week. That's a hell of a loss for Man Utd with no way of recouping it really.
Because being in charge of Madrid is really comparable to his time in England Nothing wrong with being boring if you just want results
