His first season at West Ham they played great football, brought through a couple of the kids and finished ninth.

In the second season, he had a fall out with Gold, who then signed players he knew nothing about and announced the entire squad (apart from Scott Parker) were available for sale and it was all downhill from there.

He also had a great first season at Watford, though the second was a bit of a disaster.

I know how his teams did in terms of league finishes, I was asking about this style of play people are talking about. I've never understood that viewpoint anyway, for me good football is winning football.

If I were to be positive, would that help our chances of survival? If so, how?

The most positive thing that can happen to my club, is the Allams **** OFF!

We're talking about a cash pot that's potentially worth more than he is. A bit different to donating a bit to charity.
 
Welsh FA also indicate they have had no contact regarding Coleman. Which of course City would need to do in order to 'interview' him.
 
The big problem is the Allams always do the wrong thing. If they had wanted to get rid of Bruce they should have sounded out managers agents after the play off final. I know some people don't want to be drawn when a manager is still in the job but they will give an indication if they are interested if there's a vacancy. They should then have sacked Bruce and got on with the recruitment process while the players are on holiday.
The way they've done it means that the players are panicking about the new season and will jump ship if they get a better offer and most offers will look better given the mess we are in.
 
Would the Allams try to have a clause in the contract making it easier for a new buyer to change managers? Who do they want to piss off the most? A potential new manager or a potential new buyer?

Depends how long he intends to stay/how long you're in the Premier league.

If he has any ambition, he'll want to stay in the Premier League for as long as he can.

I would imagine that in 5/6 years he'll double the amount of money he has currently should you stay in the Premier League and have a bit of success there.

He wants out ASAP apparently. He knows the fans aren't keen on him and are sick of his dicking around. Ambition isn't really anything to do with it, if he was ambitious and wanted to help the club grow he would've issued a full and frank apology and retraction of the name change, membership scheme and airco fiasco.
