**** that, let him rot for a year. We'd have to pay him the wages and any other bonuses trying to terminate his contract, so why let him go just so we can get rid when he'll be gone in 11months anyway. I wouldn't even let him train with the juniors, personally I would tell him to stay away but I've got a feeling we have to offer training facilities to him or something. So make him train on his own without the coach. Or sell him of course.
Telling him to just stay away would be breaking contractual arrangements, as would anything else that deems him not having a fair chance of playing. He could then sue us for breach of contract and get paid that money plus more anyway. Better off getting a kid to injure him in training (nope, not encouraging that )

No he has burnt his bridges and he will destroy any potential he had by his off field activity. Getting what we did for him was fantastic business.
