When it came to conducting the sale to the Americans... the assets including the contracted players would have been included in the value...yes!!!....?... today, (Diame) the value just dropped by the £6 million they wanted which ****ed the deal..

The one player we really had of game changing skill...

I normally agree with much you write but GLP.. but with respect get a grip.. You can play in a great stadium in front of 50k fans and another 10k fans away. Training facilitIes are mint. They'll match his wages. They'll win nearly every week. He'll get chance to attack and show his skill and not have to defend. He'll be lauded as a great and he is. Great manager who will encourage him to do what he does...

ITS A NO BRAINER FOR HIM...

Where does this myth come from that they get 50k every home game?

I wouldn't have said a no brainer - he stuck with us throught the whole of last season when it was strongly rumoured he'd leave us in January. He gets the glory at Wembley with his wonder strike and the chance to be back in the top league with a club that stuck by him through injuries. He seems a well liked player and wouldn't need to move, unless it was a top 10 club.

I'd think Bruce leaving, no new players and no new manager would be the main reasons for leaving - not the draw of being at Newcastle.

He didn't go in January because no bids came in for him... maybe!!!!!!!??

Since 2001 (when St. James Park was expanded large enough for more than 50k), they've only had 2 seasons when the average attendance went below 49k, one of those seasons was in the Championship.
