Martinez wasn't sacked by a Chinese team The league position Everton reached last season under Martinez was much higher than we have ever finished.
Coleman tomorrow means we are speaking to him tomorrow. And why would he come? Money. I still think we will go cheap and this is all a PR thing. Then again, SB was a surprise and maybe we will have another one. I don't think CC is suddenly wonderful just because he had a wonder week away. It's different at the front end of club management.
Keane still being bandied about http://www.fourfourtwo.com/news/oneill-tells-keane-it-either-club-or-country?
I saw Roy Keane in Hull a couple of times last week. He was also in Barcelona so he could be visiting clubs in the off season.
Coleman and Keane won't keep us up. They both had a decent run at the Euros but neither are good managers or head coaches.
Jesus he'd be a bit leftfield. Unless someone is advising them I'd be surprised if Allams had ever heard of him.
Yes you can. Protest beginning of first half, middle of first half then end. Same in second half. Rest of the time get behind the team. The protests need to be loud and often till we get rid of the twats. As it is we haven't got a team, and Muppet 1 and 2 don't seem to want to redress that so the sooner they **** off the better. ALLAMS OUT
Actually I might take a punt on this. The Italian media are generally very well connected and informed. They had Mazzarri as the new Watford coach about 2 weeks before he was named and I regretted not lumping on that.
A lot of names banded about and a lot of people unhappy with those names. Out of feasible and realistic managers, who would everyone be happy with?
Why is this taking so long ?! Does anyone at the club know what they are doing ? Non-League clubs are better run than City. Embarrassing.
Forgive me if this is a sweeping statement, as I don't have an intimate knowledge of wider European football, but aren't most Italian managers defensive? If we thought Bruce parked the bus wouldn't we be in for even more extreme defensiveness?
No. It is a massive sweeping statement that is about 40 years out of date. It might surprise you - but it shouldn't - to know that Serie A has consistently out scored the Premier League over the past decade. Somewhat ironically, the only top manager in Italy now who is considered defensive and harking back to catennaccio is Mancini, and he was courted and won the league here. It's like a foreign club appointing an English manager and their fans assuming he'll be a long ball merchant.
