They probably think 7 million is a lot of money to little old Norwich.

I wouldn't be surprised Woodbine! Meanwhile this from HITC on McCormack:

A Fulham source told HITC Sport "The player wants out, he wants at last to be in the promotion picture and is confident Norwich will be - he does not believe Fulham will be challenging. Whether it is Norwich or not, we can't see him staying."

Fully agree. We are a Championship side with Premiership ambitions so why keep players who are in their 20's and not up to a place in our Championship matchday squad? Rudd is now 3rd choice and needs to be told that he can hang around and fill that gap in our squad or move on. IMO he is not up to it. When he got a chance last year he dithered about on his line not knowing whether to come out or not, flapped if he did come out for a corner or a cross, had no command of his box or defence and seemed more concerned about avoiding pain when he came out to one on one situations. I fear that he will have to lower his sights considerably if he wants to get a regular start.

1950, your description sounds more like Ruddy to me than Rudd. Rudd didn't really impress during his stint, but the only glaring mistake I remember was when he came out to challenge someone (Afobe?) and got carded. And Rudd never had the benefit of playing with an in form Klose in front of him.

I think the Everton in for Brady story is a rehash from May before the Euros. We must hold out for at least more than we get McCormack for, and we will get him. Are the Hammers still interested as well?

After Wolves Chinese take over, it appears they are already hastily trying to buy their way to the PL. I don't know a lot about Anderson Talisca but buying a player for £20M and pipping Loserpool to his signature into the bargain is some statement of intent (If it happens!)
Further reinforces the need to get up and outer the championship this year, it will probably be too soon for Wolves even with that sort of spending but next season they will be added to the very rich parachuters and all the best of the rest in the championship.

Bah!

Even Arsenal can not compete with the ludicrous financial expenditure at the top. Or rather, won't. They have been linked with Higuain forever, but his transfer fee is crazy. I know that Juventus are backed by Ferrari/Fiat but they must be close to violating FFP, as clubs in Italy are Europes elite poor relations

He's a top quality player. Very skillful.

Both talkSPORT and ITV reporting that Birmingham want RvW on season long loan

Would be a good move for him, but we surely won't let him leave (even on loan) until we have strengthened in that area - could that be the signal that McCormack is close to signing ???

Seeing as Fulham have now signed a new striker I think that indicates it's a done deal.

Don't know how I feel about the bit that says AN has told the player he has no future with Norwich and is even willing to let him leave on a free at the end of the season.

Seems a bit of a waste of a player and money.
To be fair after all this time clearly he doesn't have a future here, may as well cut our cost and get rid. No harm telling the player that so he can think about his future even if it does sound harsh.
