Juve probably don't particularly want him to go, so, **** it. United, you want him - you pay it. Pogba, you and your agent want this deal - you sort it out. In their place, I'd do exactly nothing and wait. My wife says it's one of my talents.
I wonder how many clubs will still be surviving in 10 years time. These players/agents/clubs are trying to put themselves out of business. Will there have to be a salary, transfer cap in the future.Sadly this would ruin the Man Uniteds of this world.Over to you,Maureen.....
Pep Guardiola has banned overweight players from training with the first team until they lose the excess pounds. Yaya Toure is said to have contacted brother Kolo to get some info on fat burners and deep fried pizza deliveries from Glasgow.
When I was a lad, clubs like Celtic, Rangers, Ajax, Benfica, Feyenoord, Steaua Bucarest, Red Star Belgrade and Anderlecht were European forces. It's sad to see Celtic struggling to overcome some team from Malta with the knowledge that there's no prospect for that significantly changing given the TV money that larger leagues can generate. The takeover of the corporates - for Madrid, Barca, Bayern, United read Mercedes, BMW, MacDonalds, KFC, etc. I want to live in the past!
The Pochettino first team training OTOH guarantees loss of excess pounds. And if you want to resort to weight loss via vomiting, his methods can probably do that for you too (without needing to stick fingers down your throat) .
I am too tall to play prop (I'm 6' 5") and played lock and occasional No 8. I'm not built for running long distances and found endurance work very tough. Hence the emissions. I never made the top grade and was happy to play for the seconds until my shoulder and neck gave out. After 4 operations I can't even swing a golf club or throw a dart for a whole round/game but I don't regret it.
Mertesacker ruled out for a few months. If Arsenal are desperate to sign a centre back who is at least two yards slower than the rest of the team, Fazio's available... Didn't we once have a Spanish manager who had the same idea, going as far as to ban ketchup? Remind me how that one went...
Big Tom's ketchup intake amounted to 5% of Heinz UK market. Meetings were held to implement a 'Remove Ramos' strategy. It involved bribing Commolli into the signing of Frazier Campbell, Gio Dos Santos and David Bentley. An expensive response but they couldn't have their market eroded. Robbie Keane didn't really support Liverpool as a kid but he couldn't eat his pasta without smothering it in ketchup. I am sure that birthday cake and fried chicken emporiums across all of the North West of England are plotting Pep's return to Spain, right now.
Celtic are playing a Champions League qualifier as I post this. They're up against FC Astana of Kazakhstan. It's very nice. Brendon Rodgers still hasn't learned and he's picked Efe Ambrose, again.
I agree. When I was a lad my second favourite team was Third Lanark. You can see that I wasn't a pot hunter! I wonder what yesterdays footballers would make of todays game.Sideways,backwards...and the site of a player taking a corner and within three passes the ball has gone back to his own goalie! Billy Nick would be tearing his hair out!!!!
