Well done Chris Froome, not my favourite sport, I think it's the only thing RBF and I disagree on, but credit where it's due!

Totally random, but I just saw this on twitter. I've not been to Mljet, but have passed it on the mainland.
A far cry from nearby Dubrovnik which will be rammed like sardines with cruise ship passengers until mid September. <yikes>
I love the sound of a rowing boat out to an island monastery and eating mussels in the restaurant <ok>

When I was a young lad, pre-teen, my grandfather would catch the bus to Norwich and come home with pints of cockles, whelks and mussels and a couple of dressed crabs, I only ever liked the crabs, the other stuff was like eating gritty (from sand) dollops of snot! <yikes>

The Ice Bucket Challenge back in 2014 raised £76M which funded research into motor neuron disease and the discovery of a key gene which causes it.

Social Media, a force for good.

I've just had a DM on twitter from Jack Reeve saying my suggested Timm Klose T-shirt slogan has been an inspiration and he's sending me a free one!

Let's raise a glass to Phillip Green,
    In Monaco with wealth obscene,
There he stands upon his yacht,
I name this ship "The Pension Pot"

Politics aside, watch the interview with the Parliamentary Commitee and make your own mind up. For my five lenny worth he is a shister and one of the most hateful, arrogant toss*rs I have ever heard.
When he wants to remember something he manages to recall it, but hen things get ricky he looks flustered "How am I supposed to recall everything?"
I don't care about his knighthood - give your ex-employees their just desserts and then clear off with Lady Green and do whatever you scumbag!

What ever is this country and it's nanny state coming to? A packet of peanuts recalled because it was not labelled as containing nuts and herrings without a fish warning! I'm sorry but if you are allergic to nuts and eat a bag of them just cause they don't have the right label on them please step forward for your Darwin award!

    Bah!

Just found a 'new' for me twitter account called @fryuppolice
Does what it says on the tin <yikes>
I'll probably get bored soon enough, same as all the parody footballer (Milner) and manager (big Sam, etc) but that to me is the beauty of twitter. They come and they go at the click of a tab <ok>
