McCormack is 1.75m tall (5ft 9ins in old money) so he hardly represents the big lone striker which AN seemed to have been favouring last season. If NCFC are intent on spending £15m on him should we assume that AN is going to play a different formation next season? Perhaps 4-4-2 or even, dare I say it, 4-4-3? I can't help but wondering that had Gary Hooper not been sold we would not be looking at McCormack as they seem very similar strikers. Does anybody know if Alex Prichard is still available? Have we got too many mid-field players already?
We have apparently enquired about a loan for Pritchard, but Spurs seem to want to sell him. Swansea may be in for him on a permanent.

We certainly need to bolster our defence and Pritchard would be a worthy addition to it - I feel he's more likely to go to Swansea though..

Pritchard is an attacking midfielder or were you being sarcastic?

On a different note; I wonder what it would take to get Mbokani back now he has been released? Big wages but he and McCormak together would rinse the league.

Yes, a bit of sarcasm there - I think we have enough midfielders already!!
Hmmm - Mbokani in the Championship - that could be an interesting prospect!!!

Strong words from AN today and I REALLY hope he 'sticks to his guns' when the league actually starts a week on Saturday - "Alex Neil will settle for nothing less than promotion this season and the Norwich City chief is prepared to unleash his young blood on the Championship to do it."
“To try and involve them in the Premier League is an extremely difficult thing to do. Of course there are different pressures now because we will hope to be at the top end, however, our squad is getting older and if they are good enough the one thing I have always done is not be afraid to put them in.”

Just what we need another attacking midfielder!

Hopefully next time he'll spend some time in the gem of the Norfolk coast ...and sign a long-term contract extension <applause>
I guess Sherrers and Wells are a half decent snapshot, but once he's experienced the main event......

;)
Pleasurewood Hills or Bressingham steam museum?

Pretty sure he has been released! Would be fantastic in the Champ but unfortunately i cant see either him wanting to or us being willing to pay wages :-( Shame
He was good against Watford but didn't do enough to keep us up in his many other games for us.

Pretty much my feeling as well. Pritchard had a good season for Brentford with 12 goals in 47 appearances but went on loan to West Brom and only made two sub appearances all season, but that could have been due to Pulis's preferences. He is capable of playing wide as well, and WR might be his best chance with us. Not at all sure though, and like others, I think we have bigger priorities elsewhere.

The article hits the nail on the head, and I hope that AN really does take this opportunity to bring our young players into the squad. Canos will be there, but hopefully the Murphys, Maddison, Toffolo and Thompson as well. We certainly do need to plan for the future as well as pushing for promotion.

Didnt start enough games despite being our best striker. OK he wasnt AS good in some games but the Championship would suit his style imo.

Clearly oozed class when on the ball. Held the ball up better than anyone we have had since big Iwan and bullied defences with his strength. With someone like McCormack running off him, they would be deadly imo.
