Worried Robertson will end up jumping ship to Liverpool, they are selling Brad Smith and Flanagan looks like leaving on loan so they're probably going to need another left back.
I don't blame any player for jumping ship, good luck to them. If I worked for a bellend, I would be looking to leave asap!
If Ehab is as industrious in selling players as he is in buying them, then we will have nothing to worry about
The problem is whats Ehab Allams real intentions, Is he going to bring someone in and give them enough funds to compete even though its at such a late stage or Because he is such a spoilt Pratt does he think because we went up we have the money in the bank, the club will be sold when we are ready to do so and for now because the Hull people don't agree with what I say I will watch them suffer by letting the new man bring some loans in plus the odd freebie and then with a smile on my face watch them get humiliated. This would bring the club down in value so I don't know what he would achieve by doing this except in his own warped mind he might get a lot of enjoyment from it because I think he does have it in him. Only time will tell
Perhaps the banking of the sky money will offset any such depreciation in value of the club should we get relegated, just a thought.
Difficult to second guess a lunatic, nothing he and his dad do seems logical or even sensible to me, but there again, I don't have their CV. The media criticism and **** they will get if we are not a competitive outfit in the PL will mean thick skins are required. If there's a plan, I don't see it
All this trying to second guess the allams intentions is pretty much a waste of time, their approach to city over the past month has been so illogical that any sensible theory just doesn't seem to hold true. If it were about getting out with a profit they'd have sold at the reported 30m profit and gone, there is now little chance of them making any profit coming close to that which they could have, even spending nothing, banking all the extra revenue would leave them in a loss making position in comparison and a club valued at significantly less than before. Ridiculously it would appear the only way to recover the situationfinancially for them would be to make us competitive by spending (which has no guarantee) and then looking to sell either in jan or next year, but anything they spend now they'd want to recover when selling which will push the price up, also spending will please the fans as would getting a good manager in, which kind of goes against what they're trying to do to spite us! The pair of ****ing clowns are in a really **** position now, ****ed if I know what they're going to do, and cant imagine they have a plan either
If they were to sell at a £30 million profit, is that in their financials and liable to capital gains tax or offsetting losses...
I dotn know about losses or hownitd be financially treated, but in my mind the 30m would go to allamhouse, any profit bring subject to corp tax, with the allams taking dividends subject to capital gains, either way, with some profit lost to tax or to cover losses elsewhere it'd have been getting out of a club where they are strongly disliked at a big ass profit
Thanks for this. It begins to feel like if you don't say we're doomed and this is the worst day ever, you are somehow being disloyal to the anti - Allam cause. It is grim at the moment and the owners are obviously a joke, but the club and players will still be there when they are gone .I agree there have been worse times. It's still possible that in September we will have a new manager and new owners and not be doomed to relegation. I sort of understand this board completely wallowing in misery but not sure it's very productive.
Strange ....to me it feels like its our worse times ever. At least in days gone by we knew we was not very good....we didnt expect much..maybe a good home draw in a cup game if we made it that far But now we are in the premier league We had a half decent manager We expect more. But the cloud of the bastards running the club have ****ed it up big time These are nothing like our best times thanks to the Allams. To me it feels like our worst times. F off Escab and take your lying old man with you
Nothing personal against you Johnbo, but this is about the 10th or 25th time I've read this theory, can we just have a sticky with the word Theory on it & everyone who has a theory of what the Allams motives are can post in there!
Good post. This is why people who have left should return. Everyones excited hearing about the Allam out chants at a friendly. Think if its 22500 at the KC every week. it will be brilliant. You go when you want or stay away when you want you shouldnt let someone drive you away.
Very little, I was living in Salisbury at the time and went 1 or 2 times a year. I live in Derbyshire now so its easier to go. Those other owners were very poor I grant you, but not as arrogantly vindictive as the two ****s we have in charge now.
Difference between the Allams and those you name is everyone was united against them - despite everything, there are still plenty who continue to back the Allams, granted they're mostly PLW's like Mavroz (or whatever moniker the ****s using today) but they'll create a toxic atmosphere at the KC by booing behind their hands when the protesting starts. One good thing though Chazz, the ****s aren't so brave booing protesters at away fixtures.
