My gut feeling is he's going to put Grujic straight it from the start. He did loan him back so he could finish the season, he's played plenty of football. He may be young but all the signs seem to be him being a starter... I could be way off the mark, but I think he likes the lad, a lot.
Yes but..... potential init. I think the only over pay there is sinclair who i dont think will play in prem. I think smith is as good as warnock was at the same age. And i also will add... for jimmy.... smith had serious injuries and was out of contract. Saving he had no club is very unfair. The boy got two serious injuries and its very clear hes lost a lot of early development in his defensive ability but that can cone and i think 6 mil is good for all concerned. Klopp says you have to play abs letting the lad go play is great for him.
surely the £6m for Brad Smith isn't accurate i mean i know it is mad this window but someone has been smoking some serious **** to come up with that figure. hopefully the drug addled fool is the guy who signs the cheques
Just watched few clips of Wijnaldums goals last season. 11 in total, 4 of them were headers and all but one were from inside the box. For a guy that plays midfield that's pretty impressive. He gets himself into the box, something out current midfielders don't do. Obviously tactics may differ but seems his natural instinct is to get inside the box when the ball is wide
Would suggest one of Can or Hendo is dropped? If it's Hendo that's quite an inexperienced CM partnership. Get the feeling Grujic will play a lot but think Hendo and can will be the preferred Cm partnership early season.
Played LWB for Holland in the WC when they did very well under LVG and was youngest player to play for Holland I think? Suggests he's better going forward as a wing back but not seen an awful lot of him.
Jurgen Klopp insists he has had “100%” backing from Liverpool's owners in the transfer market as he revealed there could be one more signing to complete his summer recruitment drive.
WATCH: MAHREZ'S STUNNING FINISH The Leicester winger has been linked with a move to Arsenal today, and picked up from where he left off last season with this brilliant goal against Celtic this evening... http://www.skysports.com/iframe/wid...VQxqzvu#ooid=9iYmd3NDE6W2uIhDvDXk0Ad5SVQxqzvu
The owners just put a lot of money on certain teams getting relegated. We are hopeful we have pushed Southampton down now too
I can't read minds but I'm guessing Klopp thinks he can work around the midfield problem. The left side is horribly weak defensively, and I think will cost us points unless improved.
