Mind you, the EU are dicks too - for not offering it before.

A lot of people are now going to think - "we would still be in the single market, we pay less contribution than we used to, OK we don't get a seat at the table but the Germans/French ran things anyway and ignored us so plus ca change, we stay out of a lot of EU crap, we get effective control of Romanian beggars coming here, and we get to make our own trade deals with anyone else in the world...... "

Mind you this is all just a newspaper article. Brunnhilda will probably veto it.

Interesting times

You might be right there.

Certainly May has more balls than the Eton boy Cameron had.

Look at this one - the EU now seriously thinking about giving us a 10 year brake on immigration (aka "for ever but we can't admit that") just to get us to stay in the single market. We'd have stayed in the EU if they'd offered that before the referendum.

So Soft Dave should have done what Lynton Crosby told him to do, refuse the deal Brunnhilda Merkel said was the best he could get, and hold out for this - what an effing twat he was (is).

I am sure this would have swung more than the one person in 50 needed to put Remain ahead of Leave. What a nob.

Might be enough to trigger a second referendum if offered as a stay deal instead of a brexit deal.

Very interesting and on first thoughts it shows what us leavers have said all along, that they need us more than we need them.

Seems like a half way house compromise though as we'd still have to pay into the corrupt regime which was the whole point of leaving in the first place, time will tell what May thinks is more important, respecting the Brexit result or access to the single market but either way time will tell.

Moving the goalposts Kim? I thought only the Welsh windbag did that. <laugh>
The whole point of leaving was so you could end immigration. Don't let's have to start rehashing some of your old posts.

I know what I've said before you fecker, ok so 1 of the reasons!! <nahnah>

I stand by my leave vote and would vote the same again if the result isn't respected with another referendum.

£350m for the NHS (<laugh>) was ONE of the points, not the whole point. I know people who only voted Leave because of immigration. The Remain campaign team have admitted immigration was the one argument they had no answer to.

Cameron will be seen as the effing disaster he always was if we now get this 10 year brake, whether inside the EU or just inside the single market

After getting busted on the £350 mill immigration was the only thing mentioned on the campaign.
Can't believe people are so willing to admit they bought a lie and voted for any other reason, although it must be embarrassing for them.

Your violet Elizabeth reaction shows you are worried.
Morning.

Bollocks am I!! <doh> <laugh>

Just being less confrontational and more constructive as it's getting tedious with the argument rolling on and the same old **** spouted, May has said on numerous occasions that Brexit means Brexit.

Getting bored with it now. <doh>

Sorry to break it to you, and suprised you hadn't twigged after stupidly buying the leave campaign bullshit.

May is a politician and they tell lies. If she as a remainer can find a way to say we are staying she will. It's why the tories elected her and not Gove or the other mad bitch. This might well be the way!

Suck it up big boy!

True but I said recently that I never believed that any or all of the money would go to the NHS, my reasons to vote out were for several other reasons. <ok>

There was a meeting of 25 Conservative MPs this morning (Iain Duncan Smith and another unnamed 24 swivel eyes, I assume) to help stiffen the resolve of the government to come out completely - no single market, OUT, whether or not we get offered immigration control within the single market. They are obviously worried May may be sensible.

The bloke on Andrew Marr was all caveats this morning. Brexit now means doing what's best for Britain and not Brexit apparently.......
........... And so it begins.

When it comes to 'suck it up' Chips, if I were you. I'd start puckering up. But let me warn you, and you can bookmark this, If your Government ignores this vote, a referendum of the people, you may well have a civil war on your hands, and I'm being quite serious. The people and the Crown vs Paliament. It happened four hundred year ago and it turned out you never had a parliament for years after that, and a dictator to boot.

Exactly right, Chips. I wouldn't trust a pollie as far as I could spit. As you say, she was, originally, a Remainer. Leopards, spots? See the conection?
