A lot of people are now going to think - "we would still be in the single market, we pay less contribution than we used to, OK we don't get a seat at the table but the Germans/French ran things anyway and ignored us so plus ca change, we stay out of a lot of EU crap, we get effective control of Romanian beggars coming here, and we get to make our own trade deals with anyone else in the world...... "

Mind you this is all just a newspaper article. Brunnhilda will probably veto it.

Look at this one - the EU now seriously thinking about giving us a 10 year brake on immigration (aka "for ever but we can't admit that") just to get us to stay in the single market. We'd have stayed in the EU if they'd offered that before the referendum.

True but I said recently that I never believed that any or all of the money would go to the NHS, my reasons to vote out were for several other reasons.

There was a meeting of 25 Conservative MPs this morning (Iain Duncan Smith and another unnamed 24 swivel eyes, I assume) to help stiffen the resolve of the government to come out completely - no single market, OUT, whether or not we get offered immigration control within the single market. They are obviously worried May may be sensible.

But let me warn you, and you can bookmark this, If your Government ignores this vote, a referendum of the people, you may well have a civil war on your hands, and I'm being quite serious.
