Ex Sociedad maybe also?

@Bri OBE would be happy with this one... He took Bruma on loan last summer to RS.

He also tried to loan Adnan in his first season at RS I believe so that one wouldn't surprise me and would be a good move imo.

We need some left sided players so it would make sense, the lad needs to step up he's in danger of squandering a great talent.

according to MUFC TV Jose's been waxing lyrical about Adnan. Maybe it'll be Memphis sent out on loan.

We don't need that, we have Borini, Khazri and Lens all right sided who can play that role would be madness to help along another clubs player.

I think Memphis will come good.

Both him and Adnan play LW/RW - versatile <laugh>

I hope so mate, it's confidence, he ripped Arsenal to shreds at OT.

We'll probably ditch Jones/Roco as well after their shambles displays against Dortmund.

Bri Marcus was just asking a rhetorical question - you answered with a financial debt answer - don't think he blamed Ellis Short for not doing his best for the club.
Football business fortunes are subject to constant change - esp up here - <doh> ...<cheers>
In my opinion - it's onwards now

Stay out of it please. He can speak for himself and is doing <ok>

The thing about this I like is the 4 year deal. It indicates assurances of a long term plan and maybe just maybe some stability. Moyes on a 2 year deal wouldn't inspire me as it would feel like same old same old as far as managers go round here, just another stop gap. But committing to that length of deal shows intent by both club and manager to stick it out and try to actually build not just survive. We have everything in place but the playing squad to be more than cannon fodder until April. A decent rest of the window and we might be alright actually maybe even better than just alright!

Spot on mate. We need that stability and may have got it under Sam, seems Moyes is Shorts 'man' given the quotes and as such I expect him to be backed and backed well.

We may actually be better off, in a bizarre twist.

Yet only you got on the defensive! Chances are the people (yes people as I mentioned there were "a few" not one as you state) may not even use the forum any more. It wasn't aimed at you as I stated many posts ago (yet you keep going on) it was aimed at the ones who I remember having a go at Ellis for his managerial appointments. Not the financials. Jesus wept indeed!

But you've just said you don't remember who they were. You directed it at me because I'm one of the people you're not remembering. You were talking about me as I've had a many a go about his management recruitment so don't try to say you didn't mean me. I'm saying the sentiments you made up was complete bullshit and you've missed the origional point but used it to stand on a pedestal to look down your nose at me and the people in the 'Brigade.'

You took a good thread and used it to have a dig. I'm telling you now pal, I've never questioned Short's intentions to do what's best(nobody would either it's insane you'd even surgest it let alone make it the foundation of your point). I think he's done a ****e job but I don't think he did it on purpose. He owns the company, he's 100% responsible for any successes and failures especially management recruitment and yes, it is connected to finances imo but that was just one extension on the many problems his bad recruitment has created imo.

Not the first time you've tried to imply sentiment for me. I've not forgotten you telling me how 'I wanted the board to die'. I find it tedious.

Be interesting to hear the anti Ellis brigade on what he says about going for moyes 5 times previously. That, to me, looks like someone who has been trying to do the best for the club! Hopefully this is the continuation of what Sam was putting in place.

Talking **** that wasn't needed. You got the bite though so well done. <applause>

Should be put to bed this now. We'll have to agree to disagree and be done otherwise thus will get even more stupid than it already has?

Should never have been started in the first place mate..

I'm one of Mr Shorts biggest critics, he says he has hunted the last 5 jobs for him and finally got him..bullshit, I could say I won the lottery last night, words are easy and I personally don't believe a word the man says, for me he is a softer, American version of Tom Cowie (remember him) and will always look after no1..

He has been pushed and prised in his tenure, flitting here and there and I do wonder how he made his money and how he spends it because after many scares, it's only when the **** hits the fan, the man turns up..

He has given Moyes assurances? Shame he hasn't given the fans any assurances over the last fekking 7+ years..

Looks good today and that is the way it should have been.

Ha'way the Laaaads..ffs..

Seems about 99% fully behind the choice which bodes well.

The 1% will join in after a decent run. I'm excited for the season, hopefully we get some deals in sharp.

I watched that video clip earlier of his interview and he genuinely looks like he's turned up with a plan, a ****ing plan mate.

First manager in years who hasn't been appointed to firefight and get you out the ****.

Allardyce is bloody good at what he does but Moyes seems perfect for you lot.

I agree mate, I'm delighted with it.

He was a poor fit at United, but we ain't United. If he can do an Everton job here he will be idolised.
