I think - in a long time we have a star ensemble of great managers in EPL.

Expendables cast has nothing on this group.

Can we predict their performance and rank them for this season?

Below, my rating of the managers. Likely that is the order in which their teams might finish.

1) Jose Mourinho - 1st for Manu with Pogba / Matic. 2nd without them will get Jose 1st ranking.

2) Tony Conte - Top 6 for Chelsea without major signings will get 2nd spot. With few additions Top 4 will get him 2nd.

3) Pep Guardiola - City's 2nd spot will get Pep 3rd spot in my manager rating.

4) Jurgen Klopp - Top 5 for Pool will be an improvement, but he can take Pool further. His rating will improve.

5) Claudio Ranieri - Top 10 for Foxes will get Claudio 6th rank.

6) Arsene Wenger - Customary 4th for Goons

7) Ronald Koeman - Top 6 with Toffees will place Koeman at 7th here.

8) Mauricio Poch - TBH, Spuds overachieved like Lester last season. Top 8 will get Poch 8th here.

9) David Moyes - Top 10 for Mackems will get Moyes 9th here.

What do you think?

Bollockbrain has rated Jose at the top despite calling for his sacking from Chavbus from virtually the start of last season.

And that's after winning the league a few months earlier, and being his club's most successful manager while now claiming he will go on to have even more success than Fergie!

Every thread this moron creates is a homage to his idiocy!

He had an attempt at humour by intentionally omitting Jurgen Klopp...
Sorry guys. Included Jurgen as well. I was on my phone and couldn't type all names properly.

Cracking season awaits. What do you all think?

Have we ever had these many top managers in the league?

What do you think?

How are you rating them?

For example, you put Mourinho top but what do you think he'll need to do to claim that top spot considering he'll have probably spent £200m+ by the time the window closes. Simply winning the league wouldn't be enough surely?

Or are you basically predicting how the PL will end?

Primarily, that is the order in which their teams will finish - give or take.

If Jose wins the tile for 200M that is the best investment for the money bags; after the way they were flushing down the drain.

Unfortunately if Pogba joins - it won't be a question of IF - but WHEN they win the title :(

But if Ranieri even gets top 10 - His ranking will increase higher in my ratings.

If Mourinho wins the title having spent £200m but Klopp finishes second (I was going to say in the top four), I'd say Jurgen would have outperformed Jose. Any manager (well, almost any) can spend **** loads of money to buy glory. Mourinho as made a whole career out of it!

Feel free to substitute Klopp for Poch int he above opinion. Same applies.

I don't think anyone intentionally makes a career out of buying glory. If the same quality is available from academy & from the market - Any manager will go to the market.

For the obvious reasons - they will get a special allowance from multiple parties involved. This will be a substantial bonus on top of their regular pay.

What will they get if they promote academy player of same quality?

Appreciation and respect as a manager and coach! Win something significant by promoting youth and you'll be rated a better manager than one that spends £200m a window.

Why waste your time. The guy flip flops on everything he says depending on what suits his argument. The other day he was slating Fergie for buying his success (incorrectly I might add) and today he's justifying why spending £200m+ is what everyone would do if they could and any success from it is still better.

The guy is a braindead simpleton who is motivated by hate and bitterness. That's forgiveable to a point but when you talk gibberish and keep cobtradicting yourself, you come across as a prat. He is easily the worst poster on Not606 bar none.
