Chuba Akpom up front for Arsenal tonight v Lens, got a stream as not much else on.In the minority here but I think he is a player for the future given a consistent run somewhere. Bostock playing for Lens, always remember him for his wonder goal for us

I go by what I see in the flesh myself which is unfortunate as I miss a lot of the regs, Akpom just needs a decent attacking coach to sort his head out, needs to slow down a bit mentally in front of goal

Arsenal have a habit of persevering with players who were nowhere near good enough.

He'll be at Leyton Orient in two seasons time.

He's had one chance tonight and fluffed it, half-time nearly don't expect him to be out for the second half. Lens winning, Mertesacker making Maguire and Dawson look like Carl Lewis and Linford Christie
 
Thought Akpom was a good player myself, only problem was he couldn't finish for ****.. He has genuine pace (unlike Hernandez and aluko who look fast but seem to get caught up by a clogger of a CB everytime), decent touch and had tenacity and passion in abundance.

I think he could make a good PL player, perhaps not at arsenal, if he sorted out his temper and keeping cool in front of goal

So he can't finish? He's got temper issues? And not cool in front of goal? Apart from that he's the answer to problems?
