Hull City manager Steve Bruce is in talks with the club over his future, according to Sky sources.
Reports on Friday have suggested Bruce has parted company with the Premier League side.
At the start of June Bruce was reported to have been considering his future as Hull boss amid speculation the club could be the subject of a takeover bid.
Hull have been up for sale since 2014 after the Football Association rejected owner Assem Allam's application to change the club's name to Hull Tigers.

Bit late.

What a ****ing **** show this summer has been. I can't possibly think of a way it could have been worse unless the stadium burned down!

Steve Bruce has left his role as manager of Hull City, talkSPORT understands.

The 55-year-old, who led the Tigers to Championship play-off success in May, departs the Yorkshire club just three weeks before their Premier League opener with champions Leicester City.

Bruce did not take training on Friday and he has handed in his resignation at the KC Stadium.

I heard Bruce has left can you confirm?

<laugh> You've been done Bummers.

You love being technically correct and Quill's just done a Bummers on you.

You're getting slow in your old age.

Eh? I'm 100% correct on this one. The quote is from the character. If you'd asked Alec Guinness himself he'd have said it was the character speaking, not him.

I stopped replying cos I couldnt be bothered as this one isn't even a debate.

<laugh><laugh><laugh> The quote he made up? I don't remember seeing that quote in the films?

Keep digging.

Bruce said that he wanted assurances that the club would back him, it`s blatantly obvious that these fkn clowns only back their pockets, they are fkn clueless, Bruce was the one glimmer of hope in all this mess, but he obviously has had enough, who can blame him. These fkn muppets think by stealing the premier league monies they can fall even then sell the club, they are a fkn disgrace.

Those are the circumstances when your support is most important, aren't they?

I support the players to the hilt, no doubt about that, but how can i spend my hard earned money to go to the club run by these monkeys, actually that is offensive to monkeys as they probably have more brain cells then the muppets running the club. I was in the mind of sticking by the team hence why i signed up to the scheme but, as it appears the owners are forcing everybody away and how can i support that? they are going to look at the fans in the stands as reasoning for their decisions saying we still have a fan base regardless. I think this is the last straw and all fans need to stand by each other now.
