Used as a target man though?

He's never really been one of those mate.

Don't get me wrong not at all a bad player or someone not worth having, but the cost would be ridiculous.

They are offering to sell for around £5million, that's cos they know clubs won't pay his salary.

He was at Besiktas last year and did well, and he will have CL football there.

His main club is Fiorentina and the Italians are not the biggest payers even to big signings so a deal on his wages could be negotiated. Don't know why they loaned him to Besiktas though.

When he went to Fiorentina it was a massive statement signing, they were looking to fight back to CL and paid a huge fee.

He will be on a fortune mate, they didn't get CL that year hence he was loaned out, and they didn't cop his salary.

Thanks for that. Looked a possibility for a player on the way out for a season or two.

Sunderland are reportedly set to offer Aston Villa defender Micah Richards an immediate return to the Premier League.

The Telegraph report that the Black Cats are poised to activate Richards’ release clause which is thought to stand at around £5million.

However, any proposed move could be delayed by the uncertainty surrounding the future of Sunderland boss Sam Allardyce who was interviewed for the England job last week.

28-year-old Richards joined Villa on a free transfer from Manchester City in 2015 and played 29 times last season.

The club is making an offer for a player the next manager may not even want? That's almost perverse.

Unless Moyes was asked first, I guess?

Bullet dodged if its an rib injury that BVB didnt reveal
Well done to Boro medical staff , wish you,d completed his signing now?<doh>
He was fine in the air over here then he landed at Teeside international airport, disembarked the plane and collapsed. His last words before flying off again were something like "cannot breathe - tell them its a rib injury"

25m for whyayeman.

Liverpool have agreed a deal in the region of £25m with Newcastle United for midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum, according to Sky sources.

Wijnaldum, who has 30 international caps for the Netherlands, will now travel to Anfield for a medical.

The midfielder joined Newcastlein a £14.5m switch from PSV Eindhoven last summer but was unable to prevent their relegation from the Premier League.

Little financial bonus.

Sporting, who have taken Coates on loan with a 5million euro option to purchase, want to move forward and pay now and finalise.

Few extra quid for the new gaffer.

they paid 2million Euros for the two year loan so we've made a handsome profit(we only paid about £2m didn't we). Not a bad signing after all
