It's all gone a bit quiet on the HRK front, does it normally take this long to sign a free agent from the Championship?
Who we've offered a 4-year deal apparently. Only thing I can think is either he's bailed, or else we're trying to get Sane over the line to make a double announcement like with Clucas and Taylor last season.
He's got no shortage of suitors though, Even if he wants to stay in the country it will still boil down to money in the end.
He's probably done one, it doesn't take three weeks to decide on a contract, he will have got an offer from a better club. I don't know why we HAVE to make a double announcement, especially given everything that's happened over the last month or so. It'd make more sense to announce things as they're done. But of course, sense isn't something that's kicking around the KC these days.
Mate he'd be mad not to take the 100k a week in China if that's true, he's ****ing not very good, he will never earn that kind of money again.
Yeah had he not had a decent euro's we wouldnt be having this conversation and china would be a holiday destination for him
"4-year deal, 30k a week" "Awesome! Where do I sign?" "On this contract, but it's only for 2-years, 5k a week."
Well to sign somebody you actually have to bid money, have the bid accepted and open discussions with the player. Otherwise nothing will happen.
According to reports in Germany this morning, Hannover 96 are holding out for a €10m (£8.4m) offer for Salif Sane. http://www.hulldailymail.co.uk/hull-city-news-and-transfer-rumours-live-salif-sane-link-bruce-latest-and-takeover-reaction/story-29536948-detail/story.html#ixzz4F2kByNVG I think we can probably forget this one now.

what is our transfer strategy really? Does everybody just go home at the end of the season and not plan anything? Till we come back for the first friendly? Should of had a list drawn up pre playoff final prepared for us to go up, as soon as that final whistle went we should of been putting bids in and negotiating so new signings can start pre season with the club. I'm guessing we'l hash a few mediocre signings days before or after our first league game ****ing shambles
