Magnus Pehrsson is not a name many of you - if any - will be familiar with.

He’s the current Estonia national team boss.

He knows Ragnar Klavan very well.

I think he has most of what you ask from a central defender -- he is calm with the ball, he can build up well, he’s fast, he’s good in the air, he can tackle.

From the players I have worked with in my career, he’s the most professional I have worked with, in terms of taking care of himself and really trying develop himself day by day.

He’s a real role model. This is my third year with him now and I don’t see any difference at all. I think he has developed in these three years. He has always been a good athlete -- he is strong and fast. By playing more at a good level in the Bundesliga, I think he has developed with his positioning on the pitch, and that together with being a fast player, I see him carrying on six, seven years without any problems.

Sounds like the bench for Sakho then.

so bascially he's 30 but hasn't a clue where to stand...

(i'm only joking)

he's a 4th choice CB. he's not going to be playing much at all.

Madis Kalvet, a reporter from Estonian newspaper Postimees, to get an idea about the centre back.

Maybe when you compare him to someone at the absolute top level then he has similarities to Mats Hummels.

Klavan is very calm and doesn’t lose his head on the pitch. He has good technique and is good on the ball. In good games he may be quite invisible, because he doesn’t usually make mistakes.

Seriously?? <laugh>

Hope so!
