so whoever wrote that one is saying for every good player LFC buy from newkie theres a total numpty we but for too much money to laugh at?
Magnus Pehrsson is not a name many of you - if any - will be familiar with. He’s the current Estonia national team boss. He knows Ragnar Klavan very well. I think he has most of what you ask from a central defender -- he is calm with the ball, he can build up well, he’s fast, he’s good in the air, he can tackle. From the players I have worked with in my career, he’s the most professional I have worked with, in terms of taking care of himself and really trying develop himself day by day. He’s a real role model. This is my third year with him now and I don’t see any difference at all. I think he has developed in these three years. He has always been a good athlete -- he is strong and fast. By playing more at a good level in the Bundesliga, I think he has developed with his positioning on the pitch, and that together with being a fast player, I see him carrying on six, seven years without any problems.
so bascially he's 30 but hasn't a clue where to stand... (i'm only joking) he's a 4th choice CB. he's not going to be playing much at all.
Yeah.... but that'll be for matip. this guy will be on the bench behind the bench where shako will be sitting. like blind for you.
Madis Kalvet, a reporter from Estonian newspaper Postimees, to get an idea about the centre back. Maybe when you compare him to someone at the absolute top level then he has similarities to Mats Hummels. Klavan is very calm and doesn’t lose his head on the pitch. He has good technique and is good on the ball. In good games he may be quite invisible, because he doesn’t usually make mistakes. Seriously?? Hope so!
Tottenham have ended their interest in Newcastle attacker Georginio Wijnaldum, according to Sky sources. Spurs were keen on the Netherlands international but manager Mauricio Pochettino has decided he is too expensive, with the Magpies unwilling to budge on their £27m valuation
Bogdan has finally gone to Wigan. A prime example of why you do not sign a player just because he has a good game against you. You need to see another 30+ games were he is probably s***e
No Jon Flanagan for #LFC tonight. Left out of squad as he considers whether to join Burnley on season long loan
#LFC have agreed a £13million deal with Stoke for Joe Allen. Remains to be seen whether Swansea match that offer but midfielder set to leave James Pearce
