We haven't had a letter or any written acknowledgment of our membership (not previous season pass holders), let alone an actual card. The first direct debit has left the bank.

I take it that is in line with everyone else? I was going to say what terrible service, but it's hardly unexpected.

Going by some posters, and stories, you'd best check what seat they've actually given you then!
I haven't renewed so no idea but I have heard a couple of people who have been issued the wrong seat and the one they should have has been sold to someone else
Not being a WUM, but if you e had no confirmation it'd be worth checking just in case

I haven't had anything through the post but I did get an email confirmation. Worth checking your inbox and spam folder.

Thanks guys - yes had the email confirmation. If I go online to my account it doesn't show up under membership or season pass, but entering the order number in the "lookup bookings" section brings it up with the expected seat number(s). It sounds like it's as much as anyone else has had.

How much enjoyment we'll get out of it is another matter as we had taken a punt on regime change by now. Not looking forward to a season of getting humped every match.

What would be the easiest way for the club to now alter the membership scheme to include concessions, bearing in mind the number of memberships already taken up. Would it be easier for the club to say those you fall into certain age brackets will have their direct debits taken for say 6 months instead of 12, that way its cheaper fro them and would be easier the scrapping the whole thing and starting again. Just a thought.

It's not going to change now, even if we'd got a new owner it would be difficult to amend it for this season, I'd have expected them to just say they'd revise it from next season onward. As it is, we're now stuck with it.

How would you stand if the club came out and said it would be back to normal next season? Would you take up a membership for this season or wait until the change happened? I have got a membership for this season and have got a pass for my 3 year old daughter. hopefully she enjoys it as she has done so far at the preseason games but i was just wanting to know how the fans stand who have taken the stand to not renew their passes.

I never said I backed the membership, I said it's a good idea but implemented badly. There are concessions, but people have to move sections to take advantage. I remember back in the days at BP when they were offering free kids passes.....but to do so you had to sit in the family stand at one end of the best stand. Even though I had sat with all my mates in Bunkers for years.....I moved coz I wanted to take my son !! I never even thought twice about it. My lad still goes to every game today and blames me for it :emoticon-0102-bigsm<cheers>

Maybe pathetic was the wrong word, and my first game was 44 years ago so obviously I have been through the bad times again and again.....so maybe that's why I can't understand the concept of City fans not going. Obviously money, work, distance are valid reasons for not going.....but not the owners !!!!
Moving to the cheapest stand is not a concession. My grandsons pass last season was £60, this season in the cheapest it is well over £200. Where's the concession there.

Impossible to rewrite the rules, I've given up my 3 season passes, no doubt these seats have now ben reallocated to a membership member! Either way well done Ehab, you've lost my £1.5k a year!

You joined to watch the big boys eh.
Thanks for supporting the long standing pass holders in their stand for fairness.

Yeah I misunderstood the pricing in my original post. But the joint price of both your passes will be cheaper though in the zone 1 ??

Firstly, there's a limited number of Zone 1 seats (which sold out some time ago), secondly, you're forced to move out of the seat you may well have had since the KC opened to sit in the poorest seats in the ground and thirdly, the family price guarantee is for this season only.

Yup I understand that, as I said in my original post the membership scheme is a good idea, badly implemented.

And all this moving seat bollocks, I must have sat (or stood) in every corner of BP and the KC......It doesn't matter !!!!.......or maybe I am just more interested in watching football :emoticon-0100-smile

Or maybe if you'd been sat in the same seat for fourteen years, had got to know all the people around you and didn't want to sit anywhere else, you might feel differently?

I always said "the football gets in the way of a good day out", meaning that sometimes the actual game was the "least enjoyable" part of the whole afternoon.
Getting together with your mates, talking to people around your seat who you get to know, getting to the away games, was often the highlight.
Get the match out the way and back to the pub!

What makes you think it's even a good idea ?
