Billy said something stupid. Blunham got upset. Billy apologised. People told Billy he'd been a twat and Billy held his hands up.
No scapegoating whatsoever. It happens to a lot of people on here and we all move on. There's bee a lot of apology threads during my time here/on 606.
The only trouble is that people form opinions of people over time and an accumulation of what's said, much like in life. While it's good that you love him, Billy saying stuff like that will only spoil the forum for him as some people will be hesitant with him.

Well not Billy that para/squaddie , da to a grad and a young lad ( who doesn't post anymore but always used to log in , in his dads account and vise versa) and fictional wife ( def going to hell if this one miraculously turns out to be true)?
More then likely he's a half decent bloke who works in a factory some place and has invented a semi hardman persona online, cos the big lads push infront of him in the lunch line.

When I first saw Billy's apology page, it was late at night and nobody had answered it yet. So I don't know what this thread is all about, and haven't got involved. O.k., I agree that Billy and Commachio1 are the most scurrilous, mischievous bar-stewards on here. BUT ... when those two fellers find something to answer sensibly, there's hardly anybody on this board that talks more sense than them. I don't know what's been said about this issue, but I'm for Billy and Comm, end of. Two of the best posters on here.

I have met Billy and I can say with the utmost certainty that he is not a hologram or a made up character...I most certainly do not agree with many of the things he comes out with, but he is a lad who I have shared a pint or two with and would be happy to do so again..
Some of the best people you can meet are the ones that speak their mind. Im not saying its totally good cause i dont always agree whats said but id rather an honest man than a fake one that keeps his inner thoughts hidden!
