30 year old, captain for his national side for under five million? not much to disagree with tbh. If he is terrible then it's no loss.

I think it's similar to when we signed Kolo tbh.

i really can't recalled cos the augsburg games were so dull that i was prob asleep.

Its another caulker IMO. stand there and be professional or a year and if you never play great.

Its prob alos going to be very very low wages compared to say buying a young lad for 15/20mil.

an odd one but it suggests klopp has something in mind internal to the club rather than buying another CB. Matip, shako, lovern, gomez look to be it really.

Sakho has fitness problems, Lovren should kick on, Matip looks decent and Gomez has another injury set back.

With Illori still on the books thats six central defenders, can rotate between cup competitions and league matches. Gomez is willing to play in either full back position also. Think it is a good deal all round tbh.

We need more wingers though.

I'm more inclined to think we need better Centre Mids. Can & Grujic are the only ones really worth keeping.
Henderson is a bit average.
Milner is very average and should be used as cover.
Lucas has never really recovered and is average.
Allen, great beard average footballer, should sell him now while his stock is high.
