The turn style staff were doing as they were told regarding the checking of tickets. The light system used as actually a 3 light system which identified concessions amber adults green and red for a problem. There was not enough room to watch the lights and people entering at the same time due to how the stadium was build. Also once the fans were in the stadium it was then hard to challenge and remove. Also it was a penny pinching cost cutting excersise. they didn't staff it properly and so large gaps were exploited. This along with the bar code readers being very poor lead to large numbers of people waiting. The management were told all of this during the initial trial period. Concerns and gaps were highlighted and ignored.
