Mensa, Pete. In NYC. I was a member.

"Most national groups test using well established IQ test batteries, but American Mensa has developed its own application exam. This exam is proctored by American Mensa and does not provide a score comparable to scores on other tests; it serves only to qualify a person for membership. In some national groups, a person may take a Mensa-offered test only once, although one may later submit an application with results from a different qualifying test."

I wouldn't necessarily expect numbers to increase, no.

I agree with the rest though. Definitely a poor policy pushed through for the wrong reasons.
If the original reason we were 'forced' into introducing it is removed i.e. the EU free movement, then the cap would have no reason for existing? And you'd manage the immigration levels by fluidly adjusting the criteria in order to cover specific skills shortages and economic growth.

You said it came from him but that doesn't make it right. Of course you have to NEGOTIATE not RENEGOTIATE the deals separately. Did you think we would get them all in a room together and do them all at once? You don't have to conclude negotiations for Deal 1 before you start on Deal 2. You can do a lot at the same time.
The EU is notorious for doing deals slowly because all 28 countries want to have their say. Deal started with India in 2009 and they still haven't finished. Discussions with USA started in 1990 and 26 years later they have still not been concluded.
Accessing the single market doesn't come with tariffs.

So the head of the WTO doesn't know how the WTO works then ? You are missing the point of renegotiating the deals, as part of the EU we trade with those countries under deals negotiated with the EU, under WTO deals we could not 'copy and paste' those agreements, but would have to renegotiate each one separately. As for the time that would take, I'm not sure where you got the idea that I think those deals will be negotiated and concluded one by one, that seems to be some random baseless assumptions of yours. The point I am making is that according to the head of the WTO, those deals will be done based on the priorities of the countries that we are negotiating with, not just because we want them done 'quickly'. Once you factor in that our economy alone is worth vastly less to those countries that the EU single market, then as the US have said, we will drop to the back of the queue.

Regarding accessing the single market. It comes either by being a member state or paying a tariff. With those arrangements also comes free movement. If you think the UK is going to be given free access to the single market with no immigration obligations, then you are living in cloud cuckoo land.

Whatever, Pete. I was tested, then proctored by a local dentist. And then admitted. And that was the score I was given.

I'll admit that I only ever attended one meeting. I'd never met so many weirdos and oddballs in one place before. Until I joined this thread, that is!?..

I've still got my little globe stickpin with the big 'M' on top somewhere!...

Only idiots know their IQ.

That's how Pete became a member of Play School. Except they inspected his arsehole because that's where he does most of his talking.

Possibly, possibly not. We'd still need to control over all numbers irrespective of where we draw from. If the screening is done right, we should be recruiting people that contribute to society and the economy, which should create an environment that can accept and need greater numbers over all.

We will have to see. The USA is in the process of agreeing a free trade agreement with the EU without any freedom of movement.

What the actual **** <laugh>

So now we've established that Pete has the green eye about NSIS's wealth, his fit Mrs and now his IQ.

This thread is boss <rofl>

Whatever makes you happy, love...you'll believe what you want to anyway.

Y ahora, pendejos, mi chica y yo vamos a la piscina. Y entonces a la cama..

Hasta manana!....

No hay problema , ya he cabreado en su piscina y follar a tu mujer. <ok>

That agreement has been in discussions since 2013 and it won't be finalised until 2019 at the earliest.
