Apparently Efe Ambrose was at fault for the goal. He's utterly ****e and always has been. We played them in a friendly a couple of years ago and he was genuinely embarrassing. #RodgersOut
Gibraltarians (that's a word, apparently) all singing You're Getting Sacked In the Morning to Brendan!
F/T now Zonal marking doesn't work against plumbers and plasterers Any team which has won the Rock Cup 17 times deserves respect. That penalty shoot out win v The Who was only surpassed by the injury time winner against Thin Lizzy
Liverpool (rightly) got a bunch of stick for defending Suarez, but his current club appear to have gone totally mental. They've decided to defend Messi's ****ty tax-dodging and act like he's somehow being persecuted: Yeah, you back that fraudulent ****bag, Barca! The country's tax inspectors have responded by criticising the campaign. Their union's President had this to say: "Our view is that a campaign of solidarity, such as the one being run at the moment by Barcelona, in support of people who have defrauded the public purse isn't something that exactly improves the tax conscience of Spaniards." 2016 is a weird year, isn't it?
Rodgers reckons there's no embarrassment in losing to a semi-pro side in which half their squad are probably back working in their 9-5s today! I wonder if Rodgers truly is the person behind the Deluded Brendan Twitter account, started out as a parody yet it's seemingly becoming more and more realistic to that of Rodger's characteristics
"Lincoln Red Imps Imps' left-back was driving a taxi until 1pm yesterday....Then beat Celtic in the Champions League."
Which sounds an awful lot like the media chatter that Neymar wants to leave Barca because he has to pay tax. Hmm, if I didn't know better, I'd say this was a Marca job...
