He's played in 23 and 34 previously, and think he's fond of those two numbers. 23 is free after Gastón's departure.
Oh god don't give him Gaston's! We'll all love him, yet be perpetually disappointed...

Due to link up with the players and staff in the USA tomorrow, as per the OS.Did he go or has he been given time to sort things out.
Wouldn't bet on it.Reading peoples views and im seeing nothing but positives. Must admit to having never heard of him before.cant wait to see him play. Assuming a striker will be next ?

We just lost our 2 top scorers from last season. I would think they would replace mane at least
Did Les have a pattern for knitting a Southampton player? From what Pierre says, he suits us down to the ground....and us, him. Proof will be on the football pitch, but he seems a good fit.You must log in or register to see media
I like the sound of the kid, he's got a spot on attitude and seems to have joined Saints for footballing reasons. Watched the obligatory videos on the Internet, and my first thought was we've found our new Morgan. You must log in or register to see media

Harry Reed better start looking for another club methinks, if he wants a starting place though, unless he has improved over the last year.
Maybe, I am wrong occasionallyShould be plenty of playing time to go around...in midfield, someone is always either tired, suspended or injured.
Not quite sure you understand. Saints could sell him next week if Man Utd bid £30m and his wages would be tripled. Player can go at anytime if the price is right and the player/agent feel they want to move on. Those facts have been demonstrated time and time again in recent years.
And don't quote the Schneiderlin case to me. He stayed for another year because at the time of his first hissy fit, Man Utd or Arsenal hadn't bid for him.

Were they less tired, injured or suspended last year?
No, but Koeman was rather stubborn about not rotating the squad. And we'll likely have an even more front-loaded schedule, with at least six more matches prior to Christmas. I'll be shocked if we cannot find time to work in the likes of Reed.
