Jeez, glass half empty or what! I'd like to think we can do much better. Stoke, Fulham, West Brom, Bolton are all showing what you can do. The top division has always generally been dominated by the same 5 or 6 clubs.
So considering that Hull were below Lester on 1st January and were above them right up until kick-off of the final match of the season (when there was nothing to play for), I would suggest that Mr Pearson actually outperformed Sven for this period.
