Sorry...... they are only quoting The Mail, who usually only talk bollocks.

<doh>

Yeah - I saw that. The link to The Mail reveals nothing. Bear in mind, also, that The Mail is the parent of The Fail, so it's just feeding on the non-article in the latter.

I agree with you though - I don't think £500k will pry Ayala loose from the Reds. Hopefully it's just an opening gambit (if not just a rumour!) and it's rumoured that Assem is prepared to fund cover.

One of the Vital members who is from (and lives) in Spain, says that he had a 'tweet' conversation with Ayala who said that the two clubs were trying to work something out. He (Ayala) will reply with more information tomorrow.

I think it's pretty obvious the two clubs are negotiating. And Ayala gets on with NP - at the end of the Derby game, they came off the pitch, talking together and arms around each other.

I think they've been confused by the daily mail article which combined us being after Ayala with Leicester being after Damien Plessis.

CI now claim it's a straight fight between Hull and Leicester...

We wouldn't win a bidding war against them, NP would have to promise Ayala a starting position & TBH I wouldn't break up Chester & Hobbs..

But that article said Lesta were enquiring about Plessis not Ayala..

You never know what Liverpool will accept, if we give them a decent sell on clause you never know. He only has one year left on his contract, but i am surprised they are so willing to let him go, Liverpool's back line has look poor all pre-season and tbh it was non to clever at times last year either.

Last 3 games the Reds have lost 0-3, 0-3 and drwn 3-3..

clearly Kyriagos is the answer...:emoticon-0102-bigsm

liverpool arnt done in the transfer market yet, i think kenny will make a few bids for some defenders. latest news is he wants shawcross from stoke. ayala is so down the pecking order i think its obvious he's not wanted there. why would you let a player you have high hopes for run down his contract and leave the club ? in january he'll be free to speak to any club he likes, which is why i think they'll accept bids for him now and let him move on.
