Thats cool PMC, I think its better to work together. I passed the certification 1st time after doing the game for 2 seasons. (its open book so you have to look at the FAQs and rules) it gives you a little extra cash each season
The next race is at Austra. Its a high fuel consumption track and medium on Tyres. on a rough guide I did: FW:590 RW:590 E:600 B:650 G:690 S:500 but work on it to get a better time or to suit your driver... Soft Tyres roughly about 287liters for the whole race (thats 5.5 per lap). I last did a 2 stop Rain probability: 90%-95% for the beginning of the race so maybe a very short first stint Also upadate and worn parts on your car that may not make another race
What percentage of wear is ok before they might not make it another race? Because mine are pretty bad. Chassis 1 49% Engine 1 66% Front wing 1 99% Rear wing 1 100% Underbody 1 65% Sidepods 1 38% Cooling 1 34% Gearbox 1 86% Brakes 1 61% Suspension 1 90% Electronics 1 29%
I would replace the wings, gearbox and suspension. My car was messed up after the last race too! the parts usually last 3/4 races
Thanks, replaced them. I am going to take less risk this race because I think that is why I messed up my car. Going for a 3 stopper this race.
my strategy didnt work, I went in the pits for fuel 2 laps before it started raining. finished 21st =/
Qualified for Abu Dhabi with: Front wing: 696 Rear wing: 688 Engine: 312 Brakes: 653 Gear: 177 Suspension: 325 Not sure how good it is because I was lapping in the 2:16s and 2:18s. I am going for a two stop race on the soft tyres. Starting with 90lts of fuel and each stop will top up to that as well.
Didnt post here yet, but ive done 2 races so far 15th and 13th so far. Just signed a new driver level 85 overall, hopefully he will do something. Started in the 2:15 with your setup Mifune, with 4 tenths driver mistakes. finised with a 2:14.5 : Front wing: 840 Rear wing: 688 Engine: 312 Brakes: 690 Gear: 177 Suspension: 325
sorry missed the last race =/ so the next race is at the indy oval. I dont have any data on this one. Also my driver went out of contract so i decided to sign a random bad driver and he turns out to be better than my previous one
you have to be in amature to form a team, so if you want once one of us gets promoted then we could form our own team
ok my setup is: F:190 R:220 E:605 B:250 G:750 S:300 My time in Q1 was:44.327s Im going for a medium compound tire to reduce the amount of pit stops needed as a lap is only 44 seconds (which is about the time of a pit stop) Fuel needed 4.2kl per lap (335ish for race) My Q2 time was: 47.390s
Thanks Bando I am rubbish at guessing who much fuel is needed, last race I got it badly wrong and I had to pit twice in the last few laps because of it. This is my set up. (Based on Bando's) F:171 R:178 E:605 B:250 G:821 S:236 Going for a two stopper on the medium tyres.
well this is a very high fuel race so I had to do a guess on figures I have for High and Medium fuel. Its an experiment but I will work it out after the race seeing how much fuel I actually do use a lap.
Thanks for the fuel advice Bando, as for my set up , it turned out rubbish so ill be working off yer setups , thanks all .
