I could be wrong but wasn't it £504 for adult and child for us in zone 1.....didn't we sell out ?

Money? I could afford my pass. Work? I was always free to go to City. Distance? I lived on Walton Street at the time I stopped going.

There was only one reason I stopped going: Assem Allam.

To me it's a valid reason as, like I've mentioned before, I couldn't sit in a venue I wasn't wanted (against name change, labelled a hooligan etc). Like AlRawdah above says, it was a moral standpoint.

I've also said I salute all those who carried on going even though they were against the regime, and still are.

To you, it's not valid point, fair enough. To me, it's a question of looking at myself in the mirror and knowing I did what I thought and felt was right.

I do not regret my decision.

Also, just to say, if the Allams go and we're in League 2, the Conference or the Prem, ie wherever the heck we are, I WILL get another pass and be there behind Hull City once again.

Boro's family areashas more in them than our zone 1. And they have sold more at £570 than we have at £504. They had also sold over 20,000 in total by June 6th with the cheapest adult ones £570. Which is higher than ourselves, where it was announced that in the first week in July that 10,000 memberships had "flown out" of the KCOM.
A town as deprived as Hull with higher prices but selling double what we have. But, as I said, a chairman who is respectful to fans. Maybe there is a connection between that and the ticket sales?

    Sure you have different priorities.

But for me City > All

City were even quoted in my divorce papers because my ex threatened to stop me traveling halfway around the world to watch the playoffs :emoticon-0102-bigsm

Each seat costs the same (apart from this season's olive branch to existing family groups...which there is no suggestion will been repeated)
For what it's worth I'm lucky that I can comfortably afford one, I can't always make every game but that has never bothered me, but my personal view is that I can't bring myself to buy a pass which is cheaper because it's subsidised by the young and the elderly. It's simply a point of principle now
Never slagged anyone off for going though, and if he sells I'll be straight on the phone because I'm sure a new owner will change the scheme...if they didn't then I'd just cancel later on

I suppose that's the difference. For me Hull City is the club and the fans. I couldn't turn a blind eye to the contempt shown to the fans by the owners just because of my love for Hull City.

The club and fans need each other. I wouldn't turn my back on my fellow fans, those who I work and drink with, just because it's my club and they can do what they want.

    Oh well.

The post was not aimed at just your comments, but it's interesting that you acknowledge by omission that yours have been at times offensive and disrespectful!

I've shown the Allams more respect than they've shown me. Fact.

HCST will meet with the Premier League on Thursday, hopefully they'll get some info on the concession price rules and City's failure to meet them.

Though presumably something has to be announced soon, the first game's only a few weeks away and Leicester would have expected to have started selling tickets by now.

I don't think they know yet where they're going to seat away fans yet never mind the prices <laugh>

Erm you don't know exactly how the rules are applied and its therefore possible this horrible scheme doesn't break anything.

This was discussed at length on here and I thought it was mentioned bigger clubs than us have worse ones?

I just think you need to have an open mind with this meeting rather than wading in with incorrect assumptions.

You have to assume they made their minds up a while ago. They wouldn't leave it this late.

I won't be wading in with anything, I'm not going, it's the Trust who are attending.

Though there's no incorrect assumptions, these are the Premier League rules:

R.7. Concessionary prices must be available for:
    R.7.1. senior citizens; and
    R.7.2. junior supporters

That's why we still haven't announced out match day pricing, despite only being a few weeks away from the start of the season.

I think HCST position should be very clear that they (we) don't think that Hull City meet the concession rule, if the PL want to explain why they do then that's up to them and it will be interesting to see why they think that
The discussion on other clubs was mainly around Arsenal, but as they do clearly give concessions (albeit in one area of the ground only) then its not relevant I don't think (all it does is show how easy it would be for City to comply with the rules if they chose to back down slightly from their one seat one price stance!)

That's what they'll desperately be trying to avoid though, that's why it's an interesting one.
