Assuming you mean loan shark Hayes . I guess it would depend on the interest rate we are paying. If it is a very low (unbeatable) interest rate I would be inclined to let him wait and use the money more profitably. Conversely, if it is a high interest rate I would be inclined to use a large chunk of it to reduce the debt. No doubt we'll find out at some stage.
Nice and none goes to Hayes as he has been payed off with the money from Philips and the training ground remember two years ago and the rovers tantrums
So no more hearing Ainsworth going on about how skint we are and don't have a pot to pee in,he will be lost for something to say after we lose a game now.
I'm not an accountant and don't understand balance sheets but these extracts from the year ended June 2014 are interesting
Definitely a 15% sell on but there is a view that any proceeds from sales must first go to reduce the debt. Still, it's still great news for the club, assuming it goes ahead
Well he did say after the play off final come & get me & he does cause all sorts of problems for defenders at our level also one year deal is good.
So we have now become a retirement home for fat,**** and old strikers past their sell by date,Ainsworth what the feck have you done?
Im not expecting him to be a main starter for us, but if weve got him on decent wages then he could be a good deal for the club. Whilst he is an old striker, for the type of player he is that shouldnt matter as much as someone like thompson. Also very good for publicity
Whatever you do don't leave your halftime pie laying around anywhere........ I always hear people slagging old Akinfenwa the Terrible off but I quite like the bloke really. He is a big bugger but he still manages to knock a few in over a season. We have a terrible record against him. He scored for Wimbledon in the league match down here by getting our defence to bounce off him and he scored at Wembley. We were talking about signing him a couple of seasons ago but didn't in the end. I was quite disappointed.
If he doesn't mind being on the bench then I reckon a good signing. I can imagine him playing to Ainsworths in your face style.
