Who will win Euro 2016?

  • Total voters

If remain had won the election I would have seen it as an opportunity missed....but it wouldn't make me assume they were stupid. I would consider that they had different priorities. And I would recognise that everyone has the right to an opinion. Amazing how having a referendum result come as a surprise to some has turned them against democracy. Some would have voting limited to those of proven education and a lower age group....I thought universal suffrage was the ideal. (Not aimed specifically at you, TSS).

Just to clear my name here, incase my views have been misinterpreted. (Not saying Fran has aimed it at me either).

I said the moment Cameron offered the referendum, that too few people were well informed enough to decide (myself included). Too big a decision to make.

I also stand by the vote result. I don't like it and I still have not seen or heard anything to change my view (the lack of direction and information is staggering), however, the result must stand. We are a democratic nation, so having decided to have the vote, it must not be changed.

The result is the result and it was democratically reached. There were always going to be people who were disappointed/unhappy whichever way it went. Blaming politicians or sections of society is not going to change anything. We voted and the decision has been made. I personally felt I had enough information to make a decision but it seems not all felt the same. 28% didn't vote for whatever reason but that was their decision nobody else's.

Well down to the last 4, in euros and sweepstake.

Portugal v Wales, Tom v Davecg69

Germany v France. Saint Helen v The Liebherr Legacy

Good luck

Think I'll defer to Tom on this one. Can't see Wales managing another surprise - esp missing Ramsey and at least one other, isn't it? I'll be cheering them on though, even if it means upsetting Jose and Fran :emoticon-0105-wink:

Thank you, Dave - a true friend :D I can't see us winning either, Ramsey will be a huge loss, as will Ben Davies. Then again, you never know...

Don't tell Helen:bandit:, but I have to support Portugal. Torn because Wales is a home nation and it is a great story, but Fonte deserves this. I have to stand by my man.
I heard that! <grr> I'll be chuffed for Fonte and Cedric but I really can't stand Ronaldo. Let the best team win (so yeah, it'll be Portugal <wah>)

I can imagine what Wales fans are feeling...reminds me of 1966 and 1996 (although with 2 different outcomes). We just walked on air and could think of nothing else. Will also have a knock on effect on their economy...bet their tourism rockets. Hope it's a great game.

Mark Bowen is worse then Owen. He hasn't even mentioned Portugal yet. Just rambles on about Wales.
