Joe has been outstanding just like every other player that took to the field for Wales. i would be at klopp's door now with a cheque for £15m and say come on kloppy boy lets get this deal done you know it makes sense and then i would nip over to Man city with another cheque for £20m and say come on now play the white man and sell us the black man bony and i would drive them back to Swansea having spent £35m on two quality players that will be money well spent......

Two signings that would guarantee PL survival next season immediately and imo would make us very strong contenders for a top 10 finish.

You could swear there are only Bony and Allen in the world, there are other players out there, the club has several targets, if some don't come here we go onto others. The fact that Dai wants to spent £35m on two players comes to no surprise, he wants us to spend that on every window, it seems to have mistaken him that we are Swansea City and not Man Utd!

We won't spend more than £20m-£25m tops on players, the top figure will be dependent on whether other players goes in this window. And we certainly will not be doing anything without the new owners firmly in place, the window only opened yesterday I believe, so we have plenty of time.

Our targets have been snapped up already roof due to us trying to save a quid here and save a quid there so bony and joe are the two players left we know that can fit in....To find the quality we need in the basement is a gamble and we cant afford to gamble again like last season...£35m for two quality players is peanuts today in the premiership, A striker is the most important position we MUST get right and £20m is bellow what most premiership teams would pay.....

We could get Robin Van Persie and Kanu for 4 million and call it a window IMO

It's jäger not roof.

Anyway, you have no idea what our targets are, it's not something out club will release to the public. And you are always saying we spend peanuts and so on, you say it at this time every single season back to the old BBC 606 days. Yet we have progressed every single season, funny that !

Progressed ????? Where did we progress last season ??? We have gone backwards as far as im aware and we must repair the rot with quality and you wont get them at pound stretchers....

We progressed once we got rid of Monk, he dragged us down by losing the changing room, look at what we achieved after

Clutching at straws there jager . our season was the worst since we got to the premiership and monk was not here for most of it <doh>

Don't let the facts get in your way, we won 3 games up until he was sacked, and lost 7 , we won 12 by the end of the season, and we landed up on 47 points, that happens to be the second highest points tally we've had in the 5 seasons up here. Tell me what are you basing your claptrap on?

If Monk was here for most of it we would be in the Championship .
Once we got rid of Monk , we went on to tie our 2nd highest point total since we've been up .
Last season : Monk , 15 games in charge ...14 points
Last season : Guidolin , 16 games in charge ...25 points
Must try harder Dai

No thanks. by the way that is just my opinion. I am not getting this thing with Kanu, He has been poor at Reading and when I listened to e journalist for the local press he said Kanu is an ok player with a poor scoring record and acknowledged he had played well in the Euros. Kanu is a Championship player at best and a winger at that. He would as someone said would be ok as a 3rd 4th choice.

What happened to buying cheap and selling high, Van persie is 32 and would be worth nothing in a year or so. If I am honest I don't want either of them.

But don't you think we still need to strengthen, we cant afford to stand still and we need to be buying or signing players who will be pushing for the first team not be a 3rd or 4th choice in a position. Whilst I am not saying we need to spend like Man UTd or Chelsea, we need and should be able to compete, With Palaces and West brom's, because if they strengthen and we don't we could well be in trouble next year. We are not even competing with Bournemouth or Watford as it stands and that is a worry. This buy cheap can work, but it is fraught with danger for me, why risk when there are players available, who we know work in the PL.

Still what will be will be and all we can do is sit back and see what happens. None of us know.
