Mason would be a cracking additional to our midfielder, diamond 4-4-2 with hidden (dm), livermore and mason in middle, diame as am. Would also off Huddersfield dropping to Cb for 3-5-2, during matches as others have suggested.
I'd rather have McGuire, dawson and Davies at CB in a three than huddlestone he's just not good enough, he massively struggled in the championship last year, I'm really not getting the mentality that we NEED to find a spot for him, let's just upgrade and use him as a backup player in case Injurys hit. It's this mentality that players like huddlestone who rarely perform are good enough that's keep us as a yo yo club
People are talking like Mason's a done deal, based on nothing but an article in The Sun. We might well be sold this week, so we're unlikely to be bidding for anyone at the moment.
Have you some inside OLM as another poster with seeming inside info said the Allams were staying put...
Locadia would be very good, but I don't know if he's just one of those made up links. There'll be a few clubs looking at him I'd have thought.
With Batshuayi joining Chelsea today I wonder if Remy will be available. Or perhaps more realistically for a club like ours, Bertrand Traore on loan for the season.
Do we have that sort of relationship with Chelsea... ?... or any other club for that matter. I feel we may have burnt bridges with Arsenal but we haven't had loans from any other of the main teams that I can recall, unless you consider Livermore in that bracket. We did when Pearson was here with the lads form manchester United, Brady, Chester...
Bruce is pretty well respected and he has a good relationship with United. Bang down a hefty loan deal for Januzaj. Now that would be a quality addition.
What sort of price is he? My mate seems pretty certain we're in for him. If we're looking at 10 million for the Spurs player when we're desperate for a forward...
i know HITC dont seem to get much right http://www.hitc.com/en-gb/2016/07/03/odds-hull-city-new-favourites-to-sign-will-grigg/?
What would he bring to the team? I like the fact there's a YouTube vid of him. Must mean he's decent?
I suppose it depends on how much we have to spend, Bruce said he has a budget so I guess it depends on what that is. I'd say £8m would probably nab him, Erdevise players don't tend to go for that much.
He's an excellent crosser of the ball and a decent finisher to boot. He's got a good work rate but a tendency to strop a little if things aren't going his way. He'd be a good addition to a Premier League team, but he strikes me as the kind of player who would use us as a stepping stone to a bigger club. Which I wouldn't mind at all if he smashed it for us.
