It doesn't matter about the individual. Wales are the better "team".

Wales will miss Ramsey, but Portugal will miss William Carvalho more imo.

I agree. I fancy Wales for this one.

That's what it will be dubbed by the media though.

IF Portugal had a proper CF, I would fancy them and Ronaldo to edge it. But they've looked toothless in the final third without one. Whereas Wales have the forwards and Bale behind to service them or create something. Wales collectively should have too much for Portugal. The only kamakazee thing they could do is play within themselves like they did against England.

I can see Wales beating Portugal.

The best three teams are in the other half though so they need to make the most of that and then they'll likely lose in the final.

Which would still be stupendous, fair play.

The 'Gairmans' vs Italy tonight. Tough one to call. The Italians have played well, but you can never write off Germany.

    Should be close!...

It's a funny comp, I keep writing the Italians off because they haven't got the stars that they used or that Spain, Germany or even Belgium have but fair play to them they are doing really well and could well beat a Germany side that on paper is much stronger. This season is certainly one for the under dogs and shows how important team spirit is.

I think the real question though is who out of Germany or Italy will suffer most under the fear of facing Robson-Kanu's Cruyff turns in the final? <laugh><laugh><laugh><laugh>

It has, but at the same time, I'd be rather uninspired at the prospect of an Iceland vs Wales final <laugh>

when Fellaini is defending anyone can do Cruyff turn <laugh>

But seriously - this is season of Leicester. Anything can happen. Wales vs Iceland still on.

I'd obviously love to see it as it means Wales are in the final and it would be amazing. Also I love the underdog. But after that it'd be a tough game - any team that can beat the likes of Holland, England, France, Germany/Italy, Austria and draw with Portugal deserves a lot of respect (if all of that happens of course).
