If £60m is the figure thwn Aubemayang would be the obvous choice if he is available. The closest thing wwe'd get to Henry/Anelka, which would fit Wenger's vision to a tee.
Soo Vardy has signed a new deal. Knowing Wenger he either gets his transfer done early or he waits to the LAST ****ING MINUTE to try and seal a bargain. Many times this has backfired for us (Xavi Alonso, Mario Goetze and William Carvalho are all examples of this)
But we have also managed to seal deals for the likes of Ozil this way.
But if we are to sign a striker it will be in the last 48 hours of the transfer window (unless Wenger is looking at South American players)

Romelu Lukaku - Will leave Everton eventually. Massive World Class potential. Expensive.
Karim Benzema - This one could only happen IF Madrid sign Lewnadowski or Aubamayang. Would fit into our side well.
Edison Cavani - Quality forward, seems like he would fit into the EPL. Cant see PSG letting him go now.
Morata - Re signed with Madrid so will cost 50-60 Million. Not sure he's worth that money.
Aubamayang - Quick and a good finisher. Will be expensive.
Gonzalo Higuian - Should have signed this guy 2 years ago. Been smashing in the goals at Napoli.
Mario Gomez - Almost signed him 4-5 years ago. 30 years old playing in Turkey but his GS record is still exceptional.
Christian Benteke - With the right coaching this guy could be a goalscorer. Big and athletic.
Mandzukic - 30 years old. Similar to Giroud but a better finisher.
Daniel Sturridge - Quality finisher. Main issue is his injury problems.
Antoine Griezmann - Not a CF per say but scores soo many goals he should be considered.
Marco Reus - As with Greizmann the guy may play as a WF but he consistently gets 20+ goals and plenty of assists.
Jovetic - Personally not a huge fan but he has a lot of ability. Could be a decent squad player.
Alexandre Lacazette - Young, quick and a good finisher. Also he's French.
Luuk de Jong - Old fashioned type CF. Scored 32 goals for PSV last Season.
Vincent Janssen - Young Dutch forward. Natural goalscorer.
Paulo Dybala - Another talented Argentine. The little guy has superb technique. Top Class talent.

Been a few whispers about Draxler. Either as someone to convert into a CF or as a bang tidy wide player. I'd be a bit excited if we got him and would be a statement of intent to Mesut and Alexis. As always, injuries are a concern but, being honest, we could sign healthy von healtherson from planet healthland and he'd be injured within a week of joining us.
Always had great potential but its fair to say he's been disappointing over the last two Seasons. Has all the ability to be top class but my main concern would be he has a lot of injury issues already.

Totally agree on the Henrikh Mkhitaryan one. Strange that we didn't go for him especially when he's going for £26m. Yes it's his last year but you get A LOT for your money. A much better option than Vardy.
I totally agree, that would give United a significant edge and leave us well behind. I've been really hoping we'd go in for Mkhitarian, he'd be just what we need (and a 3 of Sanchez, Ozil and Mkhitarian would be pretty awesome). Zlatan would be epic for us but you've got to accept it was never going to happen, especially for the wages.
He never would have joined us anyway, if he was coming to the Premiership it was always going to be with Utd. Don't think we're going to hear much on any players until after the Euros at the very least, I'm fully prepared to be starting the season with Giroud as our main striker again

Well you don't ask you don't get. Not sure if our previous enquiry for him in the past was true, but hopefully it didn't piss him off from coming to us. Other than him, there are rumours of us enquiring about Lacazette. No concrete rumours at the moment.
Ii would delete 4 players from your list BEAR straight away. Morata, 7 goals for Juve last season, Mandzukic who is not that prolific, Sturridge and Gomez.

Well the Brazilian Gabriel Barbosa is one of the biggest stars in Brazilian football right now.
Similar to Neymar in style - in terms of sheer technical ability the kid is amazing. Needs to score more goals though to really push on to be one of the best. Has the ability - will probably end up at Real or Barca.
